In Flight
question
Don't know if I should read it.. Recommendations?

I just finished "on dublin street" which is the first book I liked in a while. It had the perfect amount of plot, love, and sex. Although I'm not opposed to sex whatsoever, I just hate it when that's all the book is about, I hate when it's a book about sex mixed with a little bit of plot. I read a lot of reviews and I don't know why but that's the feeling I'm getting for this one, but the story itself sounds promising. Now I don't know whether to buy it or not!! And advice?? Recommendations? Thoughts?
and ps. i hated beautiful disaster.. definitely didnt see what everyone thought was so amazing about it.. so if its like that, let me know.

All in all I liked them. Felt like it would of been better with condensing to 2 books. Was a little drawn out and not enough drama or a chase for me. But like i said It was hot and i'm glad i read it.

Hmm this book does have a lot of sex so I don't think its for you. But this book takes you by surprise you don't expect a lot of the things that is said to happen. I would recommend it but if you aren't wanting too much sex then maybe this isn't right.

Christine, when you said "I hate when it's a book about sex mixed with a little bit of plot" you pretty much described this trilogy to a tee! "On Dublin Street" was a great book and I agree about it having a great plot with just the right mix of sex, etc. This isn't anything like "On Dublin Street". Even though it keeps getting great reviews, I thought it was bleh. If you can get it somewhere for free, give it a shot so you don't feel like you've wasted hours of your life AND $$$ on top of it.
So, I really enjoyed this series, but if you aren't that interested in the sexual aspects of the story, I don't think this is for you. This book is total BDSM and they use sex as a way to cement their relationship.
If you loved FSOG you will love that trilogy... I can just recomend it to anyone who is into romance, BDSM, male dominance....
For me love is an important subject, I have to get that feeling that someone with a dark soul can fall in love too..and that not everything is just about sex..
Yes yes yes to the trilogy!!!!!

It's ok. But honestly don't pay a lot for it. A billionaire sex addicted bully gets oldddddddd after the first book. The angst.....was a waste of time lol
i loved on Dublin street too, a personal fave of mine. but this trilogy is nothing like on Dublin street at all so if you looking for something similar avoid this.
also if you don't want a book that is all about sex avoid this trilogy because it is at least 80% sex/BDSM.
in particular book two for me was a massive waste of time, no character or story building at all
i personally didn't love this trilogy but it was okay, i have read worse, but i have read a lot better too.

I did not like this series. I only read the first & am not about to waste any more time or money on the others.
I liked the book. The plot was actually very interesting but there were too many sex scenes that it kind of burdeen the book. It was nice though.
LOVE THIS SERIES and all the other spinoffs from it too. I have my own Akira at home LOL !!!!
I'm in the middle of the 2nd book in this series and so far so good. Nora Roberts has good books out there nice book here are a few Born in Firejust finished that one it was pretty good. The Witness. The Marriage Bargain
its a series of 4 books.
its a series of 4 books.
i really liked on dublin street and i think that if you like similar books that i do then you'll enjoy this series. it's got a decent amount of complexity, some GREAT heat and a goodstory line with great supporting characters.

I enjoyed the books, and the spin off series Tristan & Danika is really good. It's Is a little more hardcore to what I am used to reading, however not a bad read.
oohh I'll have to give on Dublin street a read.

totally agree.. i read the up in the air series along with the tristan & danika story (chronologically) and really enjoyed both of them. Up in the air
...more
I think you should definitely download any available excerpt to help you with your decision, because, as goes for the reviews as well, a person will dish out or praise a book according to their preferences which defeats the whole recommendation purpose.
In my opinion when recommending or reviewing you need to emphasize what did and what didn't work for you and not linger at all on any similarities with other books.
I really liked the series because it was well written, the author had her facts straight when she was referring to well known facts, it was full of romance and love, suspense, BDSM scenes, fightings, happy endings, you name it and all that she managed to stuff it in three books in a highly effective way.
I wasn't thrilled with the hardcore stuff either but for me that doesn't work against the book. If love prevails in the end, who cares ? :p
If you do decide to go for it, then afterwards you should read her novella "Lana" and her spin - off series "Bad Things".
All the characters are from the "Up In Air" series.

I liked this series alot. I liked the main female lead because she was stronger than a lot of the other whiney girls(Ava-This Man) but is it the best book? No but its a good read to me if you like FSoG because it does fall in line with them. The first one is better then the rest but I still enjoyed them alot. I don't think its a waste of time but the writing and plot is not as good as On Dublin Street(great book).

I liked all three of them, and I was fairly new to the genre. Be ready for a BDSM relationship. I didn't feel that the book was just gratuitous sex though... There is a great deal of relationship building that I loved.
It was not bad, but I found myself tuning out during the BDSM scenes.
So I gained some experience from this book: this type of relationship does completely nothing to me.
Maybe I will continue with this series when I have nothing better to do...

hero is -omg- handsome.
heroine is.. just like any other heroines. boring and lame.
if you don't have anything better to read.. then you can give it a try.

These three books are absolutely amazing...I highly recomend them to anyone:)James Cavendish is one unforgettable character...I also recommend Real by Katy Evans - this book is absolutely AMAZING! :)
This book is on my shelf for waste of time. It was so awful that I returned it and got my money back. Save yourself some time and don't read this book
I've read all three and I'd encourage you to read my reviews on them. They're filed in my "Not Worth It" shelf. Kind of explanation enough.
The first book was not that bad. The other two books were awful! The last book only got good towards the end. I actually feel like 50 Shades of Grey was a lot better then this, and i'm not a fan of 50 Shades.
To say I loved this series would be an understatement!!! It was one of my favorites ever and I highly recommend it. I recommended it to a lot of my friends and everyone who has read it has loved it:)
i really enjoyed the avoiding series. it drove me crazy, also taking chances, hopeless, and the perfect game are all good with enough of everything... or i think so :)of course the thoughtless series is amazing. and That boy by jillian dod was really really good. tell us what you decide...
this is def all sex.. the guy is crazy controlling, and kinda psycho... braiden was nothing like this. the BDSM was intense and not the only thing in the book but a big part. i really liked it though so i would recommend it but if you dont want all about tis the sex, this may not be for u... have you read avoiding commitment?
