Very true. We do look at overall goal, though, and take that into account. ☺

Unless you use a "blinkie" cupcake.

And I have to figure out where Jojiwoji(?) stopped so I don't double it. :D

Again 'blinkie' :D
I thought 'blinkie' works for our team books.

Do you think it would be easier to have a separate spreadsheet for the challenges from our spreadsheet for the team totals? Right now it doesn't seem bad, but if we keep adding pages for the new challenges, by the end of this round we will have a lot of pages on there.
Another option would be one spreadsheet for Inter-team Challenges and our Hobbit games mini-challenges could stay on the spreadsheet with team totals. It really does not matter to me and it is easy to make new ones and move the pages we already have to the new spreadsheet.
The main thing would be whether you want to open more than one spreadsheet at a time to work on updates or if it is easier for you just to find the right page in one spreadsheet.

I'm fine with searching right page.
But it would be great if we could 'hide' this other team book list so other teams can't use it (we did all the work!)
And speaking of spreadsheet, is it possible to move that avr by date column one space to the left? I keep changing wrong column :D I guess that green is just not standing out for me enough :D

Oh! Very true. Maybe in a future challenge the "blinkie" will work that way. Certainly thinking about it with regards to "chunksters."

I will do that next time I am on my laptop and not at work, probably tonight. I have already moved it closer than I had it originally so I could see it and compare it better to the read total. I can put an empty column between them and that should help I think.
I wish we could 'hide' it too, but the only option so far is anyone with the link can see the spreadsheet or only the people with email addresses we add to the list can see it. Then we would need to get the email for everyone on our team and add them individually.

I know we check the page numbers every time a book is added, but we need to check the member's read shelf too once in a while to make sure books that can be tagged with the team shelf are not missed. So far, I see that our team is really good about not missing a book so I do not think this will be a problem. (I think we probably do this already, I just don't know if we all do it at the same rate and if it gets done at least twice a month like the mods are asking now)
Since we check the page numbers when a book is added- on the update, the last date page numbers have been checked will always be the current day of the update. Maybe we should make the date checked column on the spreadsheet mean the last date we compared the read shelf to the team shelf.

Can I go and wash paint off again?"
I really like that new page that Jojiwoji and you did. Congratulations on finishing it now.

Thanks. That's great :D
I do check read shelf every time I add book, since I'm looking for date read. I started when Karen didn't tag her books so I can keep track how many we are missing :D
I think it was Mon or Tue when I saw Dee last online (I'm not checking it every day). Someone should PM her just to see is everything OK. And Jenny has 72 pg book tagged for here :D

I was thinking maybe once a week, but how would we do it?
Look at the last books read by each member, and add the ones read after?

I can go check from time to time. On my spreadsheet I can easily track last read book.
(And I still have little paint left ☺)
PS I think we have spies! We need to work on our code speech ☺

June/July 7% Solution

I originally started out looking for an easier way to track books for Behind Enemy Lines for our team, but this is what I ended up with. A way to track everything else. What do you expect from a spreadsheet-aholic? ☺

And, I'm staying out of updating this challenge. I promised Jojiwoji :D Unless, you need more help ☺

I didn't know if anyone would want to use the second spreadsheet, but it doesn't hurt to have it. I like to know how the other teams are doing. I am a

*mixing more paint and sends it to TC*

I don't have trouble with puzzles only. Lately GR is also distracting me from reading. I switched to audio while going through enemy shelfs ☺ Problem is I'm almost finished with book and I still have RL work to do (for which I planned to use that audio)

*SPY!!!*
Which one? ☺

Probably reading ☺
Or eating. They are Hobbits.

*blatantly trying to get more cupcakes for our team*

Reading moods go up and down and as long as someone is close to where they could potentially be and not drastically off their goal, I am fine with that.
Dee is at her goal as well, but I used to see updates on her currently reading book so I knew she was still around even when she didn't post in our thread. I wasn't seeing any sort of posting, but I am glad you have seen her online.
I think that if they haven't checked in to the thread by Sunday though we might want to send them a PM.
