It doesn't like us :( Still no change.
When I go to stats for both of us it shows one book less, but when I go to view books from 2013 all of them show up. It's just on stat page that it's wrong.
Even when I go to details I got all books (I've counted them ☺). Only that orange thingy isn't working :(

I just finished another one. We'll see if that one works (I don't want to lose my 600+ pg book) :D - still MIA

It's working now! I clicked to show pub year and after that it shows all books.

I still have to click on pub year to show real stats. If I go only on pages it shows old info. :(

Just a notice that I won't be online much for the next week or so, school has started again and I'll be quite busy with that. If one of my members updates something, I will try to change it, but if I don't get it done in 24 hours could someone step in for me? Sorry!

Ezi's and mine are correct.

As for Karen, she has 2 books that don't show. Since I don't know if they were read before or after RaT started, her numbers may be wrong.

New weirdness, I check md's page link and her number is changed. I switch to books or pub date, then back to pages and it is back to her starting page count. I check her shelves and I do not see more books marked as read yet. This is really weird.

Also Jenny's page count has changed but the two books she has marked as May 1st finished dates don't add up to the change in her page count either.

I am glad I added the place to record which books are read now. I thought I has seen somewhere that the mods wanted to know what was read, but maybe it was just for theme and cover since I can't seem to find where I saw that now. Even when my page count changed for my book it was 4 pages off what was listed for the book!

Another new weirdness. I was just checking Melissa's books and the books she marked as read on Apr 30 are showing up as read on her challenge shelf but are on her currently-reading shelf overall and not on the read shelf. I am asking her to check and see if she has put them on the read shelf and it doesn't show that because it is doing the same for another book she just finished.

Yes, I think we are fine. We are recording every book read in our spreadsheet with the page count so we can manually add up pages if we need to. I am going to check Melissa's page count later to see if hers will change because she marked a book as read but it was still on her currently-reading shelf. She is changing it to the read shelf and I will see what happens.

Great, T. Yeah, sometimes mine stick on the "currently reading" shelf and I'm not using a mobile device to do so. I don't know why that occasional glitch occurs.

Temporary solution - worked for me and Ezi (asked her to test it also before all others shelves started acting funny)

I've added unread book to read shelf, went to stat page and removed book after that. Stats are OK for now :)

EDIT: This is what I plan to use anyway especially if it is close to the goal. Even when I temporarily get my stats to show up, I am missing pages. I should have 746 and according to the stats I have 732. Where does it get its page numbers? I use the ones listed for the book on GR.

Mental note though: check back one more time today after 9pm see if anything changes. If still can't figure it out, only rely on calculator.

I think part of the issue could very well be due to GRs database is a dynamic system. People are constantly updating and changing page counts, and other data.

Maybe it takes overnight to update page count? This morning my page count reflects the two books I read for the RaT but it didn't when I checked last night around 9:15pm PDT.

I have no idea. Why then it didn't update Ezi's and mine yesterday? We'll keep count just in case :D


I'll be away tomorrow whole day. We've been summoned by mom. She needs free labor (and we'll get barbecue in return ☺). I don't know should I be happy to go to countryside, spend some time in nature (and feed mosquitoes) or should I be sad because no reading at all tomorrow.

Enjoy the day and food you don't have to make yourself. I love family reunions(i know you have to work there but still...) especially when my extended family can come too. Last summer we had a big one for my grandmother's 85th birthday(dad's mother) and had 35 people there.

It's not family reunion. It literally work. We need to clean up things after flood, orchard was pruned(?) so we need to burn branches and leaves, grass needs cutting, mom bought some flowers to plant,...

My grandma had her 90th birthday last year and we all came to see her (her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids + other family members). Thing is she didn't know we were all coming (we now leave in 4 different countries and one part of the family was hit with heavy snow (over 2m)). Local part of the family took her to the restaurant for dinner and she found all of us sitting there waiting for her. :D
She cried from happiness next 2h, and next 2 days spent on the phone calling everyone she knows to tell them about surprise she had. :)

I am going to PM the Mods about our team members. I don't think any of our members are the bogus ones. Only two have not posted a book in the last two weeks, but they are slow readers and have posted updates on their currently reading books. I am going to send a PM to Dee and Gemma, though, because they have posted updates on their books, but haven't checked in here for awhile. Did we ever find out when Gemma was due? Maybe she had her baby.

Just decided since I will have another 1500 pages done by tomorrow as I finish one of my 1000 pg books and a 450 pg book. That will mean I have already reached my goal and I still have 4 days. Already posted the change right after yours:)

I have to read a novella for one challenge and there is one that's part of the series I'm reading. It has 52 pages. I can't tell you how embarrassing that looks next to other books, not to mention next to yours with 1000+ pg :D

I update page counts on the spreadsheet using the links just to see how they change, but for the updates I actually add the page numbers we record by the list of books read for an accurate page count. I will do an update tonight and then I will probably need help the next two nights.

On late Saturday night, May 11th PDT I can do an update. But I may not be able to get home to my wireless internet before 8am PDT Sunday morning May 12th to do a last minute update at the end of the RaT. That would be around 4-5pm on Sunday your time. The computer is slower where I am dogsitting and it is harder to use than my laptop when doing complicated posts. If she can wait until later in the day for a final update, as long as books are only counted during the actual time of the RaT, I could go home for awhile after feeding and walking the dog and work on the final update there.

Need to change the spreadsheet for Jenny's and Jojiwoji's books then for the theme status.

I don't mind doing update. I asked to avoid that we both post same thing. I'll do it next two days, and I can do last day too. It's Sunday afternoon, I'm not going anywhere. Just sitting at home trying to read and avoid spending too much time on GR. :D

Haven't heard from them. Melissa keeps her books on currently reading until she crosses them off her challenge list, but I will remind her she needs them to be on her read shelf to count for the RaT.
