Is anyone else wanting to ( or already has) read both books at the same time just to see whats going on in both heads at times? I swear sometimes when I was reading Travis...I was trying so hard to remember what was going on w/ Abby at that moment. Maybe I just don't want it to end... :)

No.. actually, I kicked myself for rereading BD before I read WD because it was like reading the same book back to back which made it kinda boring.

the only part of the first book I wanted to read is what happened at the fight when she was trapped.

I keep REFERRING to the other book but no, not reading them simultaneously. I keep referring just to see if she changed anything and she really hasn't. I'm aware it's a his POV but it's a receptive story. I know more happened in that month than what she keps writing about.

I wanted to know what he saw, what he was thinking, and what was going through his mind when they got back to the apartment, she kind of skipped over that part :-(
i thought about re-reading them together at some point but i don't think that i missed out by reading them apart. it's kind of like reading Twilight and Midnight Sun....they are from Bella and Edwards POV and you miss a lot when you're reading them apart but it's a fresh reminder of how things were when you don't get it at the same time.

(ie the fight where Abby almost gets attacked by Ethan, and in WD we get all the bar scenes that we don't get in BD)
Reading them together helps put the puzzle together but there is quite a bit of repetition. One of my faves was when Travis mumbled, "View, Pigeon" and then you learn what that meant.

I read them together. I found it better that way cause i kept forgetting vital points. So i read a chapter at a time from each book :)

Yep I've read them together and separate. I keep flicking one one to the other just to see what the other is thinking :)))

I did read both books at same time in parts because I first read Beautiful Disaster when it first came out so I needed to update myself when scenes were glossed over. Loved them both, is there a Travis out there? If only there was and I hadn't been married for 21 years.

Same here. I was really surprised this part was skipped over, because it was really important. At this point they said they were just friends and that's why she ditched her date to go to the fight. That was a big deal because you could tell she still had feelings for Travis.
I couldn't help myself I definitely read them at the same time.....more for a reference during certain scenes.

Yeah, I read them back-to-back.. Although I was IMMENSELY disappointed that we didn't get an in-depth chapter on the fight when Abby gets "dry-humped" by what's-his-face. I wanted to read the anger of Travis in the moment. Sadly, the author just recollected in a small paragraph or two about what had happened.

I read beautiful disaster first and I thought maybe I should get the other one. I liked that you got to see it from both sides but sometimes I felt like I wanted to just get through it because a lot of it was the same.

I read them back to back, then I read them again Simultaneously ... I now have such a wicked case of book hangover that I don't even know what to do with myself.

I didn't, but read BD and the next day I started with WD, the book was still fresh in my head, it was like re-read, but I do not regret it. Travis' male perspective is the best , I like it ...

I did too. on some parts of the WD, i would sometimes forget Abby's thoughts so i went back and forth..maybe it's just me but i like to know what they are both thinking at the same time.

I'd like to read both books again at the same time.I do have a life though and other books to read so don't know if I should.
I read Beautiful Disaster then Walking Disaster and agree yes it was like re reading the same book again straight afterwards. I never thought about reading them both simultaneously but must admit I loved the ending in Walking Disaster we didn't get in the first book.

Yes! I finished Walking Disaster and am reading Beautiful Disaster for the second time on my tablet, with Walking Disaster next to me if I want to check anything. Am I crazy? I love ALL the characters so much and the opportunity to hear the story from both Abby and Travis is too great to miss! The different perspectives are amazing! Kudos to Jamie!
