April reading challenge?

so that takes care of both challenges!
It is supposed to be funny not grim - will let you know the verdict later.

I found this list of Winter Reads selected by writers for The Guardian - http://www.guardian.co.uk/books/serie... - if anyone needs help choosing. I'm going to make a shelf on our bookshelf of titles people suggest too.
If you want a light children's/YA read, I can recommend this one Odd and the Frost Giants :-)
There are heaps of Goodreads Listopia lists too (I liked this one -- http://www.goodreads.com/list/show/16...)

True -- and it's a beautiful day outside today! Maybe we jumped the gun a little :-)
Any suggestions for an April reading challenge?

You can't go wrong with this series. I love them all.

I just added the first one of these to my To Read list -- thank you! :-)
Books mentioned in this topic
Calculated in Death (other topics)Odd and the Frost Giants (other topics)
Mysteries also seem like they'd be good for this challenge -- noir fiction, and grim Scandinavian mysteries :-) Although I guess Northern Hemisphere timing means there'll be heaps of Christmas reads...
Let us know what you think -- or is this too depressing a challenge when we've just left behind such a wonderful Summer? :-)
