What are you reading?

Do you mean 2 seconds -- written by the author?"
I like it so far. It's interesting being in the head of a heroine who appears to be insane.

I'm picking

I also started

Yes! Love that series. And it was a rec from all of you. :)

So glad you enjoyed it, Wendy. It was really lovely, wasn't it.

I'm about to start a novella recommended to me by Ninja Vicki. All I Want for Christmas is You by Jessica Scott. The fact that Vicki wrote a review, something she doesn't often do, is enough to make me want to read it.
Another rec from Vicki was Seven Days, Six Worst-Case Scenarios which I will get to shortly.

Hearts in Darkness was a nice little gem.
Just finished

Just noticed this. Can I read Book 2 without reading Book 1? Damn series' that confuse me.

Going to start

I think this is the one Wendy recommended to me. Good to see you liked it, too.

I've missed chatting with everyone - hope you're all doing well.

Also, I've been waiting for you! The sequel to Too Stupid to Live is out. :)

Genre preference?
If you feel like CR, More to Give by Terri Osburn will be released in just over a week. She's brilliant. To be honest if it wasn't for her I'd probably take a break from CR.
I'm just about to start Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty. Don't know much about it except a lot of people are raving about it.
And I read The One Plus One by Jojo Moyes about a month ago, and I'm still thinking about it. It kind of blew my mind. I just really love the main female character...dirt poor but would do just about anything for her family.

You know I always love reading with you Wendy, it's been too long.
I'd love to read the sequel with you :)

Thank you Ian, any genre. The last book I loved was Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail I wish I could find something like that to read.
The Jojo Moyes book sounds so good. Thanks!

Wait! What sequel to TSTL? Whose book is it? *runs away to look it up*

Leea, I'm backed up for a couple books, but maybe I can squeeze it in after I finish what I'm reading? You should definitely try Understatement of the Year. It's Wendy, Kay and Tellulah approved. :)

Which is a pretty good trifecta of approval. *grin*

Leea, I have rarely found a book like Wild! I just re-read

Angie, just beware that while Feed is really good, many many readers felt it picked up around 30% -- and then it was fabulous.

It's about a murder (though we're not told who) at a school trivia night. The whole book leads up to the murder following three women who are facing different struggles. A young single mother, a woman in her late 30s who is unhappy in her marriage, and a slightly older woman who is dealing with a rebellious teenage daughter.
As I'm reading I'm finding myself trying to puzzle out what is going on and where people fit into the story. There are still a few big pieces that I can't quite figure out but I'm enjoying the not knowing.

Working on

Also working on

And I'm starting

I started it Regina. Only just though, i'm only in chapter 2.

No, but I just finished
