LOL Dawn...I gotta get back to that series soon! I just have to complete the Graveyard Queen series so I went straight into The Prophet (Graveyard Queen, #3) by Amanda Stevens These books have both mesmerized & fascinated me. Maybe some of it is living near or having visited some of the settings.

Jonetta-I'm blown away by this series. A series about someone who sees ghosts doesn't sound all that inviting to me but I am so glad I didn't skip it. And yes, the narrator just pulls you into it. Her voice really does set the ominous atmosphere that is alive in these books. Almost finished with The Prophet!

Oh, yes. I believe the author's husband died last year so she's been on hiatus from the series. It's definitely not complete.

Where'd you end up with it? Did it get better?

message 1831: by Maggie (new)

Maggie | 1576 comments @Jonetta, it finally started getting good about 300 pages in. I liked the way it ended but wouldn't be surprised if another book is on the way. The author left a few small strings dangling that I think could lead to another story.

They are short. Written as a serial - but I think a well done serial.

You can get the first 3 in a book and the next 3 in a book now for a little cheaper (although the first one in each mini series is free).

I'm not either. However, each installment is a decent length, and there is a total of 7 instead of 45 or something. So, I didn't have as much of a problem with it.
