I'm actually reading Rumor Has It by Elisabeth Grace. I was just checking out the sample and before I knew it, I'd read four chapters and was hooked.

Sheri Morell (smorell22) | 2165 comments Finished reading Gone (Quincy & Rainie, #5) by Lisa Gardner last night and started on the last book currently in this series. Going to have to take this book slow if that is possible. Hating that it is coming to an end. I have loved this one. Reading book six Say Goodbye (Quincy & Rainie, #6) by Lisa Gardner

Amie (alm0824) | 125 comments I finally finished Rock Chick Rescue Rock Chick Rescue (Rock Chick, #2) by Kristen Ashley by Kristen Ashley. I really liked it and gave it 4 stars. We moved in April and starting to get settled in now, so I'm getting some of my reading time back. I'm currently reading Bound by Night Bound by Night (MoonBound Clan Vampire, #1) by Larissa Ione by Larissa Ione.

message 1207: by Sheri (new)

Sheri Morell (smorell22) | 2165 comments well I finished reading Say Goodbye. I have to say I was a little disappointed in this book. it was all over the place which made it very confusing. I am sad that this series is over though. I havent heard anything about a new one coming out and since this last book came out in 2008, I doubt it. overall the series is great. I love the characters. Not sure what I will be reading next but will figure it out tomorrow.

Dawn | 3250 comments I am trying to re-read the Outlander series in anticipation of the release of Written in My Own Blood in a month thank goodness for audiobooks.

I have Outlander loaded up ready to listen to. The length of those books is a bit overwhelming.

message 1210: by Dawn (new)

Dawn | 3250 comments Yea, and Outlander is the shortest one lol. I was completely overwhelmed over the length. Just take it one session at a time.

I'm listening to the third book now, my first audio experience with the series and I'm hooked for the rest of the books. It's long but so worth it. The narrator brings the story to life in ways I hadn't imagined and I loved reading the eBook!

Enjoy! I'm in the middle of the third of four parts. When I'm done with this part I will break for another book and then resume. That's working for me.

Sandra Hoover (sandrahoover) | 11217 comments Mod
I'm going to give the audio a shot. I had heard the narrator was good.

message 1214: by Dawn (new)

Dawn | 3250 comments I completely agree Jonetta. I am so spoiled with Davina Porter's narration of this series, I can't listen to The Scottish Prisoner because it has a male narrator, and Jamie has a completely different voice. It makes me worry about watching the series in August.

Jonetta (ejaygirl) | 15063 comments Mod
I've seen and listened to the fan event and love the actor portraying Jamie (Sam Huegenot). He sounds like Jamie.

message 1216: by Dawn (new)

Dawn | 3250 comments Looks like Jamie too. Pretty good in a kilt lol. August 9 seems so far away

message 1217: by Dawn (new)

Dawn | 3250 comments Sheri, do you like the Eve Duncan series? Not that I really need another series to become addicted to, but there seem to be a lot of people who like it.

message 1218: by Sheri (new)

Sheri Morell (smorell22) | 2165 comments Dawn, I love the Eve Duncan series. the only other series that I love more is in death. I have read all of the Eve Duncan and waiting for the next one to come out next year. I highly recommend it

message 1221: by Dawn (new)

Dawn | 3250 comments I just read Daddy's Home by AK Alexander. It was a mystery/thriller that was on a special offer from Amazon, but then I ended up borrowing it from the Prime Library. At times I thought the author was trying to make the heroine, Detective Holly Jennings, put to be like our Eve. Despite that, I enjoyed this book. It was a quick read for me, and some of the twists and turns surprised me.

I'm lost with Tony in Behind His Eyes - Convicted The Missing Years (Consequences, #4) by Aleatha Romig . This is helping clarify some things that occurred in Convicted and am loving all these different viewpoints. If you've read Convicted, you know how insane things were and will understand what I'm saying.

Looking forward to it anyway even though my reading pace has been a book a week, which is slow for me.
