Sandra wrote: "I took Drew to be exactly what he was...a user who did believe he was God's gift to women and I loved seeing him brought to his knees by one woman! I liked the story but not the delivery."

That was exactly my concept of the story. Loved seeing him taken down.

Quynh (quynh_o) | 1269 comments lol Sandra, the second book still has the "talking to the reader" aspect directly, so you might not like that one either! I enjoyed getting Kate's POV, but I like Drew's in-your-face type of demeanor better because that's how he is to me.

So Twisted is the same story but from Kate's POV?

message 1056: by Penni (new)

Penni | 816 comments @Sandra - I can start book 4 as soon as I'm done listening to Vengeance. I'm about 1/3 the way through that. If you want to start sooner - go ahead.

I believe it's after they're married for awhile and involves a crisis of some sort.

Sheri Morell (smorell22) | 2165 comments I just finished reading Live To Tell (Detective D.D. Warren, #4) by Lisa Gardner . Great book. This series has finally hooked me. If you can get past the first book Alone (Detective D.D. Warren, #1) by Lisa Gardner which is very unrealistic and the second book Hide which is kind of slow then you should enjoy the rest of the series. Now I am about to start Love You More (Detective D.D. Warren, #5) by Lisa Gardner

message 1064: by Kirsten (new)

Kirsten (kmcripn) Reading Odd Thomas (Odd Thomas, #1) by Dean Koontz and listening to Treasure Of Khan (Dirk Pitt, #19) by Clive Cussler today.

Sheri Morell (smorell22) | 2165 comments I am currently reading Catch Me (Detective D.D. Warren, #6) by Lisa Gardner which is part of the D.D Warren Series. I just finished Unseen (Will Trent, #7) by Karin Slaughter . This was a great book. A little sad that I have to wait until 2015 for the next book in the Will Trent Series. I have really enjoyed both the Grant County series and the Will Trent series.

message 1068: by Carol (new)

Carol Burnside (carol_burnside) I've been on a bit of a glom the last week. A friend recommended First Grave on the Right by Darynda Jones, like a year ago. I finally bought it and read. Loved it! So much so that I immediately bought Second Grave on the Left and Third Grave Dead Ahead. Zipped through those and I'm now reading Fourth Grave Beneath My Feet.

Yeah, but there's not enough of them. Still, it's something between In Death books and writing my own series. ;-)

Karma Queen (karmaqueen) | 260 comments I finished up Origin in Death (In Death, #21) by J.D. Robb and wow! How does Nora continue to think of these plots? Plus, I'm a big fan of the series Orphan Black so I had clones on the brain this week.

Me too...it won the monthly read poll for my NG group so now is the time. I know it'll be another one that I can't stop until the last page of the last book - seriously messes with my reading schedule when that happens but whatcha going to do?? When I'm hooked, I simply have no choice.

Sheri Morell (smorell22) | 2165 comments I just finished reading Catch Me (Detective D.D. Warren, #6) by Lisa Gardner . Great Book. I am really starting to love the Lisa Gardner series. Sandra, I highly recommend the two series by Karin Slaughter....The Grant County Series and then the Will Trent series. Both are awesome and love that the characters intertwine in the two series.

Now I have to decide what to read next. It is between Live to See Tomorrow which just came out today. I already have it since i won a free copy and Touch & Go
