Yeah, to get the full effect, you'd need to read the first two. Most of the others can standalone but not this one.

I'm really enjoying The Scribe. Things are starting to pick up.

The writing makes it easy to keep reading the book. Things got interesting after the 30% mark for me. I'm intrigued now.

I got teary too, broke my heart. Forgot which website I saw it from, but the tentative date is April 2014. I hope there's an official date soon. I don't think I can wait longer than that!

Kirsten  (kmcripn) I finished The Madman's Daughter (The Madman's Daughter, #1) by Megan Shepherd . A fun read. Inspired by The Island of Dr. Moreau by H.G. Wells , nicely paced, though the romance parts of the book seemed pretty forced.
