Camille | 3 comments This is a book I had as a child so it is very old, could be as much as 50 years ago. I was able to purchase it for my own children so it is still in print. This Easter book is about a bunny who finds an egg. He takes the egg and meets a number of different animals along the way He rolls the eggs up a hill, then it rolls down the hill and cracks. The chick inside emerges. The bunny is surprised.

Camille | 3 comments We have the Golden Egg book. It is about a chick looking for a golden egg. He finds the golden goose who says chocolate eggs are much better to find. Thank you though for helping

Colleen Ray | 57 comments I think we're talking about two different books; here's the description of "The Golden Egg Book:"

"Once there was a little bunny. He was all alone. One day he found an egg. He could hear something moving inside the egg. What was it?

So begins the Golden Easter classic about a bunny—and a little duck that is about to hatch!"

Nothing like similar titles to confuse things! :)

Camille | 3 comments Yes, that's the book! I have been wondering why I continue to pick up The Golden Egg only to find it is the wrong story. Thank you so much for clearing up my confusion. Clearly, I need to go online to find the correct book.
