I saved this one for my ABC Challenge list, but I am still on my J book. I cannot wait to get there to read it. Hope you get a good laugh. Have you read all of her books in this series?

Lisa (lisathebooklover) | 9244 comments I have just finished Cross Stitch (Outlander) and I absolutely loved it! I have nothing negative to say about it at all apart from I felt that there were a couple of scenes which dragged on a bit but apart from that, I adored it! 5 stars from me and I will definitely be reading the rest of the series (although I do want to read a couple of other books before I pick up book 2).

I am now going to start reading This House is Haunted This House is Haunted by John Boyne for the Alphabet challenge.

Ann (disciple45) I'm reading Rabbit, Run by John Updike for my alphabet challenge and Roots The Saga of an American Family by Alex Haley for a buddy read. I'm enjoying them both.

I have Roots on my TBR list, but I still remember characters and scenes from the original mini-series they did on TV. I remember LeVar Burton and John Amos so vividly.

Ann (disciple45) I know, I saw some of the mini-series but not all of it. I've been trying to remember why I didn't read the book when it came out but I think it may have been because of the size! Carrying that thing on the train back and forth to work would have been a pain! I am really enjoying it, his writing is terrific!

I always laugh out loud when I read one of these. I think I like Grandma and Lula the best. I've read all of them so far and look forward to the next one. :)
