April 2013 - What are you reading and why?

I saved this one for my ABC Challenge list, but I am still on my J book. I cannot wait to get there to read it. Hope you get a good laugh. Have you read all of her books in this series?

I have just finished Cross Stitch (Outlander) and I absolutely loved it! I have nothing negative to say about it at all apart from I felt that there were a couple of scenes which dragged on a bit but apart from that, I adored it! 5 stars from me and I will definitely be reading the rest of the series (although I do want to read a couple of other books before I pick up book 2).

I am now going to start reading This House is Haunted for the Alphabet challenge.

I have Roots on my TBR list, but I still remember characters and scenes from the original mini-series they did on TV. I remember LeVar Burton and John Amos so vividly.

I know, I saw some of the mini-series but not all of it. I've been trying to remember why I didn't read the book when it came out but I think it may have been because of the size! Carrying that thing on the train back and forth to work would have been a pain! I am really enjoying it, his writing is terrific!

I read because i wanted to know how this popular movie on a book. And then i read this is one of my favorite series!! I read for the last 2 weeks on April. Yeah it took some times cause of mid-term test but I really like the book!!

I always laugh out loud when I read one of these. I think I like Grandma and Lula the best. I've read all of them so far and look forward to the next one. :)
