I don't remember much about the book, except that it included two teens/preteens on a ship for the summer. The book alternates between being told in the Girl's point of view via a journal and the Boy's via a journal as well. The boy's name may have been Nate or some variation thereof, On his name my memory is a bit fuzzy, I remember reading the book sometime between 6-8th grade so the book had to be written in 04 or earlier.
