Ah, I'd say it's an intriguing idea but not super well written. And especially later on, the dialogue is downright cringeworthy. Like, not natural at all. And the books have dragged on far too long. I feel like the last few I could totally have done without- I mean, really, something happens and they pretty much resolve it and the few things that are important in the broad plot of the series could so have been condensed into one book. I'll keep reading but only because I want to see what happens in the end.

It's horrible. It's like Twilight 2.0 or something.
