Need help, please & thank you! /s

I read this book a while back about a girl (think her name was Gabriela or Gabrielle) that's engaged and has recently moved into an area. She was a doctor/nurse I think? She had a dog and the dog got pregnant & she immediately blamed her neighbors dog. He happened to be a veterinarian that worked for his dad. Throughout the book the girl and her neighbor start getting to know each other and fall in love and have kids, but then there's an accident and she falls into a coma.
Really wanna read this book again. Can anyone help with the title? Please & thank you again.

Sounds to me like The Choice by Nicholas Sparks.
