If the main character of the book is a lead singer of rock band - he would qualify as the celebrity correct?

Yeah, within the world of "Southern University" I suppose he is a celebrity..
Lindy wrote: "what is the word besides celebrity? I dont' know where I put it"The word of the week is table.
They announced words are always the first topic in the Team Challenge-Scavenger Hunt.

Lindy wrote: "I thought that onw was frozen, so no one could post to it, but you can, i see"Only a moderator can post to it. That way there is a clear place to know what the item is with out it getting lost in a thread where everyone is talking about other things.
Zakiya wrote: "That's quite a few."I know it makes me anxious just watching. I always root for the underdog. It is hard to tell who the underdogs are with so many reviews missing.
I am a procrastinator in most other things in my life so I totally get it. I am not trying to be pushy. It's like watching a race or game on tv, are they going to get that last point in before the time runs out?????? I just gotta cheer & chant go go go...
I know how you feel! I constantly check everyone's topics when there are new ones I haven't read. It's intriguing to see everyone racing against both each other and time.
Ok, down to 11 who haven't posted with 8 hours to go. I am off to bed. I am taking my nephews kinda rock climbing tomorrow so I really need some rest.

Dawn looks like you might have missed Lizz post for week 5, her items havn't been updated on the team spreadsheet yet.

Thanks Dawn.
I came to the party late so please excuse me if these questions have already been asked.Glasses - the kind you wear or the kind you drink from?
foyer - how about the narthex of a church?
column - column of smoke? OR column of soldiers?
Single Female - would that be a lead character who is a single female or does it need to say single female?
Thanks

I don't think most of those have been talked about.
Maybe column in the item thread
Glasses- This came from a previous round in the clothing category. So it is the kind you wear prescription or sunglasses would work.
Narthex- Honestly I had to look it up but I think it is the same thing.
Column- This is in the architectural category so it needs to be part of a building. ie pillar, pole, or stanchion
Single Female- if it is based off a character in general then she needs to be single the whole book, or be alone on the cover, or the text can say "single female".
Just to let you know Dawn, the power is out for many people that live on the east coast (NC and VA) because of horrid series of storms last night. Our connection to the server is slow for those of us that do still have power. Just keep that in mind.

Will you take this for pasta as it is a reference to lasagna:I'd tripped because the deck was covered in what looked like lasagna.
Dawn (Kat N Hat) wrote: "Yes lasagna will work as will any other food dish that contains noodles."Thanks! It's a book I've been wanting to read.

Also we may end up needing a replacement player or 2 before the challenge is over. If anyone knows of someone who might want to be on our stand by list let me know.
so Dawn, wassup with that? do you look to see what I claimed last week and make it the word this week? (LOL)
Pat wrote: "so Dawn, wassup with that? do you look to see what I claimed last week and make it the word this week? (LOL)"I'd love to say that yes, I am just picking on you. But really if I were picking on you I would have found items you had claimed that I hadn't, instead of ones I had already too.
I think the only ones who benefited from this weeks words are Team Silver.
Jenne wrote: "Is there anyone left with a perfect score?"1 person. Wow. Congrats to Katya. If my memory is correct she made it through last round with a perfect score too.
Is this acceptable for pool?It was the same reason she didn't turn into a mermaid in the pool or shower.
(Just want to make sure this is the pool you're looking for.)

Yup that will work.
Would "the dear long-lost cousin who turned out to be a lying snake" work for snake?Would "That's why your mother came down here and started drinking like a fish" work for fish?
Would pea soup work for vegetable?
Would "It's near the edge of the creek and provides a scenic view of the falling waters and the pool underneath" work for pool?
Debbie wrote: "Will either corridor or reception area work for foyer? What about taking a bath for bathtub?
Thanks!"
Corridor would have to have the right description with it to work. Just a plain hallway type corridor, no. But saying, "the front door led to a wide corridor with a bench, table and a old fashioned hat rack in the corner." Gives the feel of a foyer, and I would take that.
Reception area would work though.
Just, "taking a bath" would not be enough. It could be a sponge bath. No tub required. I'm looking for actual mention of the tub.
