Christy Barrett | 1 comments Hello!

I am searching for some newly published picture books that have incorporate the theme of "trying new things" or "not being afraid to try new things". I have a lot of books in my collection but was wondering if there was anything published recently that would match this theme?

LauraW (lauralynnwalsh) | 130 comments I just finished a book called Accidentally Fabulous, which could be construed to have this theme. It is no great literature, but I think would have a lot of appeal for middle school girls.

Would you please list some of your favorites, because this is a great idea for a theme and we can all pool our knowledge together.

The dot com Leprechaun

I also like How to Eat Fried Worms (but of course, that's not a picture book).
