Books You Can Read In A Weekend

I just listened to the audiobook version of Push while I was driving to a meeting in another town. Took about 5 and a half intense hours. Simple enough story to follow and very well written but as a warning tough subject matter and lots of foul language. It suits it though. Exceptional book, I just don't know who I could recommend it to, BUT you could definitely read it in a weekend.
Animal farm (George Orwell), the happy prince & other tales (oscar wilde) breakfast at tiffanys (Truman capote) Love in a cold climate (nancy Mitford) the secret garden Sorry I don't know how to link to the actual books on an iPhone :-)
Girl With a Pearl Earring was a really quick read for me. I enjoyed it quite a bit. Finished in a day to be honest. But, I binge read.
Like binge eating or binge drinking. Lots of it, really fast, all at once. And in spurts, not consistent. BINGE
1
a : a drunken revel : spree
b : an unrestrained and often excessive indulgence (a buying binge)
c : an act of excessive or compulsive consumption (as of food)

I enjoyed reading The Skeleton in the Closet on a plane trip which took almost two hours. I was just left with the last few pages to read in the taxi! Perfect start to a trip away :)

And my friend read entire Order of the Phoenix in ne day...
Oh, I also forgot to mention The Language of Flowers by Vanessa Diffenbaugh
Here are a couple of VERY different books which read quickly...The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry - a very sweet, sentimental kind of book that is not without surprises and twists. A book for readers that will make you want to read more.
Annihilation - a much darker, apocalyptic type of sci-fi, but at only about 200 pages it is a fast read. Plenty creepy and suspenseful, but a little bit dry too as it is (deliberately) a little impersonal.

or at least the first three
by William Dietrich
by Sarah Jio
by Jodi Picoultdiscovered these recently (except of course hp)through different challenges.they were good.
also any book by Nalini Singh Kiss of Snow
Sarah Jio's books are pretty average for me (I've actually stopped reading her bc of that) but I did really enjoy Blackberry Winter.
Ooh, I see that
is described as a mix of Steven Pressfield's Gates of Fire: An Epic Novel of the Battle of Thermopylae...I absolutely loved that book.

So, I thought this might be a good place to come up with a better list in time for the Easter weekend.
A few (eclectic) titles to get us started are The Hobbit, Flanimals and Fight Club!
Any suggestions?
