This or That: Answer One/Ask One
Um, a CAT, please. The bigger the better. But for dogs, the small one if I have choose.
Gerbils or Hampsters?
If you believe in such things, I'm a Capricorn (follow my head) born in the Year of the Tiger (follow my heart) - but I'll go with the Tiger today, heart it is. But Coyote says: "Joke 'em if they can't take a screw." Horoscopes: Superstitious nonsense or Secrets of the Universe?
New England Clam Chouder, of wait that wasn't an option...noodles I suppose, I get all my rice from Thai food thank you very much. Gumbo or Goulash?
clam chowder? dude, if we ever hit the coast on one of these road trips...it better also be a burger joint. unless you wanna seefood. just saying ;)goulash. not really a seafood person.
chocolate: candy bar or mini size?
Mini - just don't like candy bars like I used too. Almond Joy or Mounds?
(sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't)
*mock gasp* shut the front door! you don't like candy bars as much anymore?!.... ;)almond joy!
shop for a birthday gift with time or the last minute?
Gift shopping with time. Re: Candy bars - what can I say, my sweet tooth shrank as I got older and my hot & spicy tooth became ravenous.
Betty or Veronica?
Absinthe wrote: "Who now?Meaning Archie's girlfriends Betty or Veronica. ;)
HBO I suppose. I haven't seen either channel in years, but I've seen some stuff like Carnivale & Rome that I think originally aired on HBO that I liked.
Vampire Slayer: Buffy or Blade?
Blade? YES! He's my kind of vampire hunter! :) Aragorn. No question.
Would you rather suffer A Nightmare on Elm Street orpled chased by the Children of the Corn?
nightmare on elm street...at least I could take it seriouslyhorror movies: ghosts/demons or serial killers?
lOL ;) I completely agree about Children of the Corn Serial Killers are much, much, much more frightening.
But then there's the other side of the coin: Serial Killers as Vigilantes:
Dexter or the Punisher?
Dexter. I don't watch/haven't seen Criminal Minds, but I love Dexter. I actually started re-watching it about a week ago. I'm actually not much of a fan of cop shows or police procedurals. But... Bones or Castle?
Romance without sex what's that? I guess that means m/m erotica. Re: Castle. Poor Nathan Fillion, he just gets no respect.
Re: Bones. They killed off or irredeemably damaged my two favorite characters. :(
Toast with butter or fruit topping (jelly, jam or marmalade)?
Absinthe wrote: "june 1st" Yay, Canada Day! Gaming console, I suppose. I don't play many video games. I prefer the table top RPGs or board games like D&D or Vampire the Masquerade/Requiem or Firefly the Game or Illuminati or even, gasp, Munchkin.
Movies at the theater or at home on a TV monitor?
i enjoy doing both. but w/surround sound and a good size screen i'll pick at home.deodorant: spray or roll-on?
Every day is Canada day ( Fête du Canada) in Canada because it's a great country. However, the Official Canada Day is July 1 (not June 1 as indicated above). This isn't Canada Day it's Oli's Birthday !>

At home on a TV monitor
Numbers or Letters?
Yes, I apologize to all Canadians everywhere. I bow my head in shame. Berate me as you will. At least I got the number right. So numbers it is.
Swiss Chocolate or Swiss Cheese?
Swiss CheeseNacho's with jalapenos, Cheese, chili, salsa, and sour cream
or
Chicken Fajita with jalapenos, cheese, sour cream, salsa, onions, peppers, and mushrooms?
Beauty & the Beast — it's being filmed right now for Disney at Pinewood and Shepperton studios by "Gods and Monsters" [and the last 2 Twilights] director Bill Condon, whose bf and associate producer wants to buy Oliver's Snake Warrior #1 painting.
movie: see the 2D version or the 3D version?
2D - as I don't have "3D" vision anyway. The whole thing is wasted on me. And be sure and remind Oliver just how much I LOVE that painting above. It is, of course, in the book Zack the Art
Love Gods and Monsters; but only saw the first two Twilight films, and I only Went to see the second because I wanted to see what all the hullaballoo was about with Taylor Lautner beefing up for the roll, I just couldn't stomach the horrible acting from Kristen Stewart (seriously, does she only have two expressions? Bland disinterest and is-that-poop-I-smell?).
Ms. Marvel or Captain Marvel?
@roger: WOW!!... i'm with rick. that is one great painting!ps
did you crop the bottom part of that painting? if so that wan't very nice, rog. depriving your homies, your fellow complainers of such beauty...if you know what i'm sayin'.
;-) *smiling wink*
@rick: lol! i must also agree w/you on the acting skills.
for myself i'll pick captain marvel
be a foot taller or 6 inches shorter?
I'm not very patient with construction, although I do live in a an old house which was allegedly originally built in the 1890s, so I'll go with old house. Now, if I had a hunky BF would was good at construction I'd be all set. @Marcie - "foot taller of 6 inches shorter"? Wow! I'd be hovering just under 7 feet - I'd be as tall as Doc Savage: The Man of Bronze!
For 6 months you have to give up your current method of transport for either a monster truck that gets literally 5 miles to the gallon or a tiny electric car that only seats two people, barely. Which do you choose?
