This or That: Answer One/Ask One

listen to 60's (soul, rhythm & blues etc;) or anything else but 60's?

Speaking of MacLaine, as we were:

p.s. Sorry I can't do the fancy links like Roger does.

I've also always associated a "telenovela" with a Spanish-language version of an American soap opera (not mentioned to imply copying, just terminology). So given that assumption and my inability to understand Spanish, I pick soap opera.
National Theatre's Frankenstein:
Benedict Cumberbatch as the creature or
Jonny Lee Miller as the creature?
(If you ever have a chance to see both productions...they alternated playing the creature and Frankenstein...see both. They're stupendous.)

handwriting: print or cursive?

A difficult question to answer. I have, to cyber-back-pat myself, very legible handwriting, both cursive and printing. So if I'm sending a personal note, it's cursive; something else, it's printed.
Hmmm. And then there's the whole issue of doctors and lawyers whose handwriting in either form is illegible.
I'm going to take this as meaning if I'm receiving the handwriting...in which case: printing.
If you had both available for handwriting a personal note to someone (a thank you, perhaps):
Fountain pen or ballpoint?

yes. doctors, lawyers and my 12 year old son's.
ballpoint
writing a thank you note: stationary paper or on card?

It's more expensive to buy high-quality paper, and I don't write notes that frequently, so...since Hallmark has some truly elegant cards with no message imprinted, I'll go with the card.
If you're going to read a real book (ebooks are somehow not quite "real"), setting aside price:
Hardcover or paperback?

It really doesn't matter to me, I'll om nom nom it all the same. But I guess Paperback
be socially awkward or just really lonely
