This or That: Answer One/Ask One
Hmmmm. It's winter, but I'm feeling okay, so...chili
steak diane (tableside) or caesar salad (tableside, from scratch)
caesar salad (tableside, from scratch)holiday with strangers who all know each other but none know you or holiday alone?
Ah, Rick, such good taste!Holiday alone (though I can't travel any more, but in the olden days...NYC from Tues-Sun., Broadway every night, Le Rivage on Restaurant Row and other fine dining, and of course the gay bars and numerous other gay...er...establishments, where you could do all sorts of fun gay...er...sh..tuff? >g<)
White Christmas or It's a Wonderful Life?
Oh, so difficult but I think on balance To Catch a Thief (can't really resist Grace Kelly and Cary Grant)Going single-word then:
Marnie or Vertigo?
Wow. Another tough one. Hmm I think I'm going to go with Vertigo, but only by a nose. How about:
Lifeboat (1944) or Torn Curtain (1966)?
LifeboatGetting away from the depressing...
Rose Marie or Naughty Marietta?
And no, I wasn't around to watch either when they were originally released!
Eric-the-not-that-old
I'll go with Naughty Mariettasorry, I can't let Hitchcock go (he's one of my favorites)
Psycho (1960) or The 39 Steps (1935)?
And another tough one. Yikes. I'm going to go with The Trouble with Harry
How about Star Trek or Star Wars?
Notorious (but still ANOTHER hard choice) Indiana Jones and the ...
Temple of Doom or Kingdom of the Crystal Skull?
Eric wrote: "Temple of Doom (though Lost Ark was/is the best)North by Northwest or Rebecca?"
North by Northwest
(and I totally agree, but then Raiders of the Lost Ark is my favorite movie, period.)
The Birds (1963) or Family Plot (1976)?
Love The Trouble With Harry, "What seems to be the trouble, Captain?" Though I might have opted for Rebecca by a gnat's pee. Raiders poses a conundrum–how does Indy hang onto the exterior of the sub for so long…? I just watched a beautifully remastered BluRay version of Lifeboat… slinky propaganda. And I love Family Plot but I'll go with The Birds.Spellbound or Notorious?
I was going to say the guy running track and reference this The Front Runner, but I thought I'd better answer: the rugby guy What's A Boy Supposed to Do since I haven't read it yet. Wet & clingy snow or dry & blowing snow?
Mulled wine. I try to stay away from coffee since my caffeine overdose. Yes, that can actually happen. And yes, it takes A LOT of coffee. ;)
Grape Juice or Apple Juice?
Since I've never been to The Feve - I'm going to pick it. Burger with (American) fries or Burger with (American) chips?
Both women have some good books but Kaje has done freebies for the M/M group anthologies. chimpanzee or monkey?
OrwellRabindranath Tagore or T.S. Eliot
Perhaps my all-time favorite quotation: While God waits for His temple to be built of love, men bring stones.
Just a thought.
