Now resuming our game and the last choice was:
repaint house or refinish floors?
I love hunky, sweet Angel but Spike's got a lively, fun devilish streak that is appealing so...grandfather clock or grandfather?
Sketch artists[Lori: got to https://www.facebook.com/petercushing...]
Frankenstein's monster or Dracula?
Dracula (unless Frankenstein's monster is Hermann Munster ...)[Roger, I will do that when I get home - can't access Facebook at work]
Ancient Aliens or UFO Hunters? {and yeah, I'm being silly}
Love crows, and electric knives are essential for slicing anything en croutesalad spinner or garlic crusher?
(How can you like crows? They're the creepiest birds everr. One of the reasons I don't watch horror/thriller movies)garlic crushers
Ice cream or sorbet?
(creepy crows? maybe creepy is why a bunch of crows is referred to as a murder or crows - as a opposed to a gaggle of geese which aren't creepy just gaggly.)ice cream
clove gum or cinnamon gum?
pulsating shower nozzlecrows are only small ravens, and ravens are really creepy…
soft-boiled eggs:
beheaded or tapped and peeled?
(Crows are sacred and protected here in NM. Plus they are interesting to watch. Did you ever notice that they set sentries where ever the flock lands for any amount of time? You know it's fall (autumn) when the crows start showing up along the Rio Grande.)Thermometer
Cybermen or Borg?
Oh, tough one. Hmmm. I'm gonna go with Indian Curry since I'm suppose to choose. Broccoli: Western or Eastern variety?
I'd have to say Brussels sprouts (although only when prepared correctly - way too many people have no idea how to cook them) Fantasy pick for the 12th Doctor: Hugh Laurie or Alan Rickman?
[couldn't get curry so I'm having some green chile instead]Alan Rickman to play the Doctor; Hugh Laurie to play the Master (or vice-verse)
Provolone or Mozzarella?
I am greatly dismayed that there are only two days left to enter the contest to wing an copy of Roger Kean's amazing new 145,000 word novel Gregory's Story. Right now contestants have a 1 in 7 chance of winning. Change the odds. Enter the contest at:

(Did you know we do not have English Muffins in England…? But then, the Swiss don't have Swiss Rolls either.)6'2 (don't ask why)
toasted sandwich: cheese and tomato or cheese and ham?
(and Canadians don't have Canadian Bacon, or the French have French Fries, Americans and our silly labels ... er, names) ;)Pepperoni (with green peppers please!)
[re #1732: Lori, good choice on casting the Doctor & Master, I think I'd rather see Laurie as the Doctor and Rickman as the Master]
Poorly written teen-boy on popular 80s TV sci-fi series: Adric or Wesley Crusher?
(The Danish don't have Danish Rolls.)Adric (who wasn't that badly written [but some of the scripts they had to work with, the number of people on the TARDIS, and budget limitations have a lot to answer for] and Adric's death actually has meaning). (Wesley is the male version of a Mary Sue - sorta [Gene Roddenberry claimed Wes as a way to write himself into the series as I remember it].)
Travel:
The Great Wall of China or Machu Picchu?
Tough one! I'm gonna say The Great Wall of China (but only because I have to pick one).[I'd still say Adric was poorly written, based on the inconsistent dialogue and depiction from story arc to story arc - but that's a discussion for a different thread...]
(Yet we have American Cheese in the US? go figure)
Squid or Octopus?
(in the US we have "pasteurized processed cheese food")I would puke at the idea of eating either choice so I pick squid as a pet only.
tilting at windmills or grasping for straws?
tilting at windmills because we all have to have an ideal to aim for and a right to defend. And the French have pommes frittes. At least the people of Yorkshire have yorkshire pudding, just like no one else makes it…George Orwell or Eric Blair?
Hmmm. George Orwell (only because that's how I've recognized him)["Pommes frittes! Fries are pommes frittes!" from one of my favorite movies]
Peanut Butter or Vegemite™
Peanut Butter (even if it gives me heartburn. I tried Vegemite™ in high school when an Australian exchange student brought it in [stupid Men at Work song made me curious] - never again >shudders<.)Best website to get lost in:
TV Tropes or Snopes?
Hercules (as in Robert Graves' book Hercules My Shipmate) See actual historical video of the half human half god at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Asi6Bl...
(Lori, Tropes/Snopes nice rhyme!)
