YOUR GUY JESSE IS NOTHING BUT A SICK CRAZY TWISTED GUY

But Ava was a pretty indecisive, mixed up character for the first 2 books. I thought she grew up a lot in the final book. They were a match for each other by the end, which is just as it should be.
Wild Ride though.!!!!

I felt the same way until the very end of the 3rd book - when Jodi finally gave insight into Jesse. I was finally able to like him.
I have never been able to figure out why I stayed with this series.

I think, to begin with, he was just such an Asshole I was waiting for the train-wreck. By the second book, he was so bad he was good, and then I desperately needed to see how it would all pan out. My Buddy Reader, Diana, loved him from the beginning but can never forgive him his 4 Day Fuckfest at The Manor, and another of my friends gave up reading half way through the 1st book, because she'd had a boyfriend who cut up her clothes, like Jesse did to stop Ava wearing something he didn't like, and she never went back. Sooo. Totally mixed views, and for many and complex reasons.

This might be just me BUT do you think it's M Pierce and not Matthew Sky...their story just has to continue!!!

Now that I have read the entire series and my opinion of him changed I can't seem to articulate how I felt about him in the beginning. I never thought he was an "A"hole though. I loved how he chased Ava - How Ava went back to him - His crazy stalking tendencies. The wedding disturbed me Big Time!!! I wished more of his early life was revealed earlier.
I always choose to believe his lost days were not spent at the manor doing naughty things.
I always read yours and Diana's post - keeps me abreast of what to read.
Please keep posting I Love EM.

if that was me I would have gone NUTS at Jesse for walking in and seeing what..."
I never understood why that was written in - Was it the only way Ava could show Jesse how harmful his thinking was to them???
Goodness I put too much thought into these stories.

*wiggles brows* we shall see :D

Though Jesse never connected with me like some of my favorite novels, he wasn't my main problem with the series. I found Ava really unlikable. I was able to look past it in the first book because the story was engaging and thought it might improve.
The thing I love about reading series, versus a single novel, is the extended allows potential for character growth. I thought initially Ava would grow on me after spending more time in their world. Instead I became more shocked that this character was the heroine. She seemed more like the ex girlfriend scheming to thwart the love of the main couple. Her actions in the last book took the cake. In actuality, the B story is what kept me from DNF-ing it. Don't get me wrong I found Jesse dumb as rocks, but even he did not deserve Ava.

Seriously?? You just HAD to bring up the 4 day fuckfest!! You know how it hurts my heart!!!!!......lol

I enjoyed AOP #3 and I am happy with the ending BUT Oh, I love me some Kyle. I am in North NJ he can visit.
Who is Donya doing the naughty with??? Not Emmy's brother - that would break my heart...ahhh Can't wait.

Accidentally on Purpose # 1
Worthy of Redemption #2
Worth the Fight AOP #3

some books / characters just don't work for some people.
this trilogy just didn't work for me, i grew to hate it actually and just skimmed and jumped to the end.
Jesse is just a controlling lying nut job and Ava was weak and pathetic
i really wanted to like it, i tried, but i just didn't, it just wasn't for me.
this is the biggest marmite book since 50 shades, people only seem to love it or hate it with no in between.
(this is just my opinion, not trying to start a fight, pls don't shoot!)

Not everyone is going to like the same books......I myself loved Jesse Ward (sans 4 day fuckfest) but you stated your opinion very eliquently that you don't need to worry about starting fights.....
Don't be afraid to state your opinion, I myself love it when people see different sides of the same book <3
Sarah- I agree. Ava was completely disgusting to me. I thought I was reading about a couple of teenagers. And the sad thing is I really wanted to love it but it was way way way to over the top for me to find it enjoyable. It's a love hate series for sure!!
yeah my best friend hated it but my cousin adored Jesse i think it depend a lot on your type of man too, if this was my husband id slap him for sure.and Ava was just argh!
thanks Diana, i always try to not offend anybody on these message boards because if you liked it i don't want to come across as rude.
but i'm very honest and sarcastic in my reviews!LOL

Apparently Jodi is writing a bonus Jesse/Ava scene, according to her FB page yesterday.

Hiya
i found Jesse's POV's more interesting but i still thought he was crazy mother
i would be interested in reading the bonus scene just to see what it's about

Tony, the bonus scene is right HERE. You have to scroll down about half a page. It's great!

But I can also see the other side as well because let's face it Jesse is very intense. The books do unravel though and we get to see why Jesse is like he is.
Anyway I loved them and Jesse ward is HOT xx

Well said. Pick your poison. The This Man series was horrible. I read Books 1 and 2 and could not go on.

All the understanding is in book 3. This Man Confessed.
It's everyone's choice whether or not to like a book or an author; it's your own emotional make up that determines whether or not you get invested in characters.
However. This series is now an International best seller. I'm planning, with friends, to meet Jodi at a Book signing in 2015. I guess we just have to agree to differ.

I think sometimes we forget that we are reading "fiction". Yes women find themselves in relationships like this. But this is "fictio..."
my thoughts exactly!!! I loved the series and This Man Confessed even,.That series is different also in the sense that each book was moving forward and not just the same thing over and over in all 3 books
