Earthchild is set in the 1400′s during the reign of James I King of Scotland (crowned 1424).

There’s something strange going on at McDermitt keep.

Scottish wanderer Llewellyn is bewitched by the local healer, a girl named Branwyn. He handfasts with her, though she is more than reluctant. He fits in with the local crofters, and soon he becomes embroiled with the laird’s widow. Branwyn—who fights Llewellyn every step of the way—sees discrepancies in the mysterious interloper. He has secrets and is not what he seems. But then, neither is she.
