(sorry, no notification)He shook his head. "i was teasing him and he said he didn't want to take a bath so he kept moving away from me and... He fell." He held James a little tighter. "but we're okay now." He murmured.
He nodded. "he doesn't seem to be hurt... Just scared." He kissed James' head.
"I'm glad"she said tucking in the little boy
Ryan stroked his hair softly, then left the room. "i should have been more careful." He muttered angrily at himself.
"You didn't know. It wasn't your fault love
"i should have kept him closer." He shook his head. "he said he doesn't like the lake anymore."
"It's not your fault Ryan. He's a child,They do silly things often without realizing the concequencrs
"it us my fault. I know there was something i could have done to protect him." He insisted
"There nothing you couldn't done. A child is a child. They do things like this and the best we can do is be there for them
He sighed but nodded. "alright." He looked up at Anna. "Thank you."
"You don't have to thank me"she squeezed his hand
He pulled her to him and held her. "yes, i do." He smiled at her.
"well, you tried to cheer me up. That's something." He kissed her forehead.
He hugged her close, feeling a bit better. "are you hungry?" He asked, looking down at her.
"I'm okay,But I can make
You something if you like
He shook his head. "no I'm fine." He smiled warmly at her. For some reason he felt good just by being with her. It was like a soft warmth spreads through his chest whenever he sees her happy face.
" are you sure? Or are you just saying that so I won't leave and we can so other things?" She asked in a teasing manner
"Hmm, maybe a little bit of both?" He teased back, leaning in close to her, their lips almost touching. A mischievous smirk played on his lips. "but you'll never know." He teased.
"Not a gentlemen"she teased back, getting on her tippie toes and kissing him deeply
He gently cupped her chin and kissed her back lovingly, holding her close.
He tilted his head and deepened the kiss, biting her lower lip softly.
She moaned softly making herself pull back smirking
He pouted softly, though more teasing than anything. "hey."
She stepped back,"nope, none of that for you"she teased him
He picked her up like a princess. "fine, then i won't put you down." He chuckled.
She struggled,"you will eventually. I'll tire you quickly
"you're lighter than you think." Kissed her nose, carrying her off to the living room.
"you're going to make me drop you if you don't quit it." He told her as he tightened his grip.
"Maybe that's why I want"she tested him looking up at him
"you know what, I'll just do this." He sat on a couch and held her in his lap.
She snuggled in laughing as she felt somethingPoking her

"My mother was once bit by one, mice or eat or whatever. She was infected somehow and now she's gone"
