He went to find James who had just woken up and looked confused,"where did you all go??"

Ryan smiled at him "we just took a little walk. Are you hungry?" He asked, running a hand through James' messy hair gently.
He nodded eagerly,"can I go for a walk aswell??"
"after you eat." Ryan told him, going to the kitchen and starting to cook the deer meat.
He set a bowl of deer meat and veggies in front of James then handed a bowl to Anna "you should eat too."
"i already ate though." He pouted.
He sighed and just stoll a piece of her meat. "their, I'm full"
He smiled back. "now eat your breakfast."
"Yes sir"she said with a smile taking a bite
He chuckled "I'm going to go down to a steam near here and wash up. I'll be back soon." He started walking to the front door.
He looked at James "are you done with your breakfast?"
"alright, then you can." He looked at Anna "but i don't want to leave Anna here alone."
"Anna, there are soldiers out looking for you." He reminded her.
"you could take a bath with us." He said. "I'll make sure James doesn't peak." He said, teasing them both.
"I wouldn't!@She laughed rolling her eyes blushing
"why not? Anna is very pretty, isn't she?" He chuckled.
Ryan burst out laughing "she's not that old!"
"I'm older than her though." He chuckled.
"No your not!shes old and she dresses in puffy old people clothes!""I haven't chose what I wear since I was five and I was nowhere near old then!nor am I now
Ryan smirked "if i make her new clothes will she seem less old?"
"She'll always be old Anna"Ana stuck her tounge out at them,"men"
Ryan just chuckled "Fine, then I'll help Anna bathe later." He stuck his tongue out at James.
"no, I'm mature." He smirked
"Are you going to do adult things where they make funny noises?i heard some of the older kids do it once.They said it's big kid stuff "
Ryan frowned "no and you're not aloud to know about that stuff until you're Anna's age." He said, trying to make a point.
"exactly." He smirked, ruffling his hair.
"anyway, lets get you down to the river." Hr looked at her "please at least come with us? You don't have to get in the water just stay near."
She but her lip but nodded"When will daddy come

"he'll be home soon, don't you worry." He picked him up. Though Ryan wasn't worried about if he came back, it was when. He knew that Ruark would never forgive him for what gee had done.
Anna was worrie about the same thing. She glanced at him confused on whatTo do. She would confide wit him later
He held out his pinky "i pinky promise."
He smiled "alright, lets head out."
He looked at Anna "well come back and get you clean later." He whispered to her, winking.
