He nodded, his heart beating faster in his chest. It was her! He smiled "well i think i've kept you here long enough. Please, let me return you to your schedule." He stared going back to the shop.
"It was nice meeting you"she said leaving
He stopped and turned "wait!... Does the name Jade mean anything to you?"
She turned sound surprise,"excuse me?"she asked
He smiled "nothing. I'll see you tomorrow." He went into the store.
"Bye"she called before heading to her car
He sat in Chair "i can't believe it... Its really her."
He jumped and quickly answer his phone "yes?"
"Hi James, I might come home a little late today okay?
"uh, yeah.. Jade i have to tell you something... I saw her today..."
"Who?"sh asked confused,"please tell me not chriti!"she groaned,"and we were finally getting settled and having real lives, you do so much for me and in the end we still have to go"she sighed sounding upset at the thought of moong then became very concerned,".....did she hurt you??"
He chuckled "no no, its not Christi, i promise... I found your daughter. Emma." He got excited "she's so cute, she looks just like you! She just came up to me and asked me to reed get a story. She sat in my lap and i read to her. She said i was a fairy and an angel." He laughed. "then she feel asleep in my lap and-oh my good jade, she just so adorable. She comes to the book store everyday!"
"I need to go"she mummerd her voice strained before she hung up
He frowned why had she hung up?... His eyes widened and he groaned. He remembered how strained and upset she had been the last time they had trapped about the twins "I've made it worse..."
She didn't come back to there motel room that night
She ignored him but came back next morning
He practical attacked her at the door. He enveloped get in a hug "where have you been!? You worried me half to death! Why wouldn't you answer your phone!?" He starred at her, eyes full of concern and hurt.
"I need some time"she mummered,"my phone ran out of charge "
He sighed "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have told you about Emma..."
He bit his lip and nodded "yes..."
Shr nodded and went to sob in her pillow
"Jade..." He looked down, feeling horrible.
"Why did you tell me!?!"she sobbed,"you were the only person I shared this with and you hurt me wit it"
"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to. I got excited and didn't think before i spoke." He looked away. "I'll go and leave you alone so i don't bother anymore today..."
He nodded, walking out.
He had already showered and gotten dressed so he went to work.
That day Emma came back doing straightfo hom
He was sitting at the desk, putting in book orders for the store when he saw Emma run right for him. He smiled softly "hello again."
He laughed "give me a few minutes and I'll ring it up for your mom." he pated her head gently.
She nodded tugging his pants towards the food action
