We don't get HBO. But I just bought the first season on DVD and can't wait to watch it. I have read all the books and have heard that the show is good too.

Jana D | 5 comments Just finished Undead and Unwed. Very funny book. But HOT. Don't go to bed alone afterwards. (wink-wink)

Laurie (ardelia27) Finished Dark Places A Novel. It was EXCELLENT! Also read Cemetery Dance by Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child. They are always great books IMO. Now I am reading The Friday Night Knitting Club and I am enjoying it so far.

Can't wait to hear what you think Sherry! There's a discussion thread on here but you might have to go back a couple pages!

Laurie (ardelia27) Just picked up Wicked Prey by John Sandford.

message 60: by Carole (new)

Carole (fibrejunky) | 1 comments I just finished a book, so technically I'm not reading anything Right Now. I haven't decided yet what I want to read next. There is too much I want to read. I need more hours in my day!

Susan Gottfried (westofmars) | 41 comments I just finished Sookie #8. I've given up on trying to keep the titles straight... *sigh*

I have JR Ward's first Brotherhood book on the way, via PBS. And 500+ more books to read here in the house. I'll start one of those today, I hope.

Bekah1964 | 5 comments This is embarassing, but can you believe I still haven't finished Lovely Bones? I'm still reading it, but almost done!

Like Carole, I need more hours in my day! (and a lot better organization skills)

Kuznechin_Chick | 6 comments I liked Lovely Bones. At the beginning it was kind of creapy...or may be some what uncomfortable, but than, I really liked this book.

message 64: by Bekah1964 (new)

Bekah1964 | 5 comments I started Mr. Perfect over the holiday weekend. I don't take much time to read, but should make great progress next week.

I liked that book.

message 66: by Sherry (new)

Sherry (sherylmarasi) Currently reading more Dean Koontz :)

message 67: by Janice (new)

Janice I just finished the Yummy Mummy and Holly's Inbox. I recommend Holly's Inbox!

message 68: by Susan (new)

Susan Gottfried (westofmars) | 41 comments I'm reading Colette Gale's Bound By Honor. Left it behind (for obvious reasons, I hope) during the trip to Cub Scout Camp. Took Eragon instead.

I am halfway through Shutter Island by Dennis lehane, and I am enjoying it. I saw the movie, so decided to get into the book. It is really good reading!

message 70: by [deleted user] (new)

I just finished reading Shutter Island, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Now I have just started reading the Australian story of Red Dog by Louis Bernieres. It is the same story as the movie, that has come out, and is now on dvd. The stories in the book, are based on his adventures in Australia, between 1971 and 1979!

I am now reading 'The Lucky One' by Nicholas Sparks, and it is one of the only ones that I haven't read. I can't think how I could have missed it, but I am enjoying it already. So I can't wait to do a review on it!
