What sold it was instead of making it a new thread/ topic, you inserted it into an already begun conversation.
Bravo!!
Bravo!!
It's nice and only fair that someone pull a prank on us after all our silliness ^^ Well played, madam!

mint and chocolate = my favorite combination which was very difficult to find in France as they don't seem to like the two flavors together

edit: The woman being poisoned in that blurb is not at all relevant to what we've been discussing! XD

And did read, too! :)

My contribution to the clubhouse...

Woo!! 300!!
Clearly wrong?? I've been avoiding the spoiler threads so that I could jump in soon. But now I'm curious lol

Woohooo! Congratulations on the 300, Hank.

Congrats Hank!!! BTW if you are attracting random dissenting commenters to your review, in my view it means you are doing something right!! My review of Watership Down had several people defending the honor of good, moral rabbits. smh...

Moral rabbits and their honor XD

WOW! Congratulations, 300 seems superhuman!
Does the Tequila come with lemon and salt? Then I'm in (if it's not in one upper, very exclusive level of the clubhouse)

Those rabbits were murderers and that story was scary!!!
PS: Congrats on the 'fame' Hank. Don't let it go to your head ;)

Child's play. Forgive me if my memory is not entirely accurate here, but in my misspent youth (well, 18-to-25 demographic) the improved version had one licking the salt from the nape of one's date's neck, drinking the shot, and biting the lemon wedge from
said date's lips. It was named "(some other nationality) shots" -- I can't remember! Probably named erroneously, but I'm guessing not Swiss!

Congrats on 300, Hank! At least it will be memorable. ;)
So what I’m understanding from your contribution is that reading 300 books from our group shelf is enough to drive you to drink?

@YouKneek The books weren't all good, I need some help with a few.

Yay for honorable rabbits, lol!

I've also once had someone tell me that I had no business criticizing a famous fairytale king's interpersonal behavior and resulting suitability as a romantic partner. 😄

For my fellow oddballs (if there are any of you out there) who don’t drink alcohol, soda, coffee, or tea, but have an irresistible addiction to carbonation, I present you with a variety of flavors and brands of sparkling water! Straight from my own fridge. I really wish I’d had the lime and coconut varieties at home for this picture. :)

And for dessert, I’ll meet you all at The Cheesecake Factory! Alas, this picture is from the website and not a thing sitting in front of me. Even though there’s a Cheesecake Factory pretty close to me, I haven’t eaten there in years. I need at least 9 of you to come split one 10 ways with me. I think that’s the only way I could justify the 1380 calories, 98 grams of fat, 58 grams of saturated fat, and 87 grams of sugar in one piece of this thing!

A tragedy :( You'll have to read the next 100 books very quickly so that you can rectify this!

mine too
and I'm up to 127 - soon (this year) to get above 130

And for dessert, I’ll meet you all at The Cheesecake Factory!"
Congratulations! What a milestone! I'm up for dessert, I love cheesecake and I'd love to visit The Cheesecake Factory. The Big Bang Theory has made me curious and so far I've never had the chance (living in Switzerland).

Haha Anna, I got tired of those flavors actually, and mixing them together did NOT help, so it may be at least another 100 books before I’m ready to buy them again!
Thanks Hank, Michelle, and Sabrina!
Sabrina, as a fellow cheesecake fan, I really do recommend visiting The Cheesecake Factory at least once if you ever get the chance! Just maybe don’t eat the whole piece of cheesecake all in the same month. ;)
