I think we all have those traits to a degree. And of course we are affected by our childhood. Everything we experience in life shapes who we are.

He also had a father who cared for him and took care of him. Javier didnt have that. He had to grow up fast and take care of his family.

Wait did I miss a chapter or something? I don't remember Corrado mentioning a father or any other family member.. All I know is he joined Cosa Nostra when he was 18 and he was the baddest mofo there was. And I don't remember him being angry actually.. I just know he didn't talk much and when he did, he only said something that had value. I know Haven was afraid of him at first, but that's because she associated him with Katrina.

Ellie hated the way Camden dressed , she didn't hate him . She was frustrated with the fact that Camden chose to stand out while she had no choice in the matter due to her accident. Also, she only teased him that day in the cafeteria due to peer pressure. That didn't come naturally for her, because she cared for him.
Lisa, she does mention in OES that she knew a guy from high school, but "he was a weirdo". But I think that's just the way she wants to remember him, because they didn't end on a good note. She had asked his friendship back and he rejected her.

Lisa, have you read OES yet?Emilia, maybe you should. It's one of those books for me that doesn't compare to any other book. Hasn't been bumped off the #1 spot for quite a while and I think it's gonna stay there for a long time too. Maybe if you reread it you'll appreciate it more. I reread some scenes when my cousin was reading it for the first time (for the sake of discussing it with her lol) and I noticed how much I loved it more the second time around

Marta, just to be fair,from what I recall, we didnt get to see Corrado everyday life with his wife not like Javier with Ellie. Again, i like both Javier and Camden but I don't see where Javier is mental..lol yes, he killed a guy but so does Corrado. I'm sure Corrado might have been possessive with his wife. We just didn't get to see their life too much OR maybe it's been a while since I've read that book. I don't remember everything

We definitely didn't get as much as Javier and Ellie, you're right about that. But it's not the killing that's making him mental to me. Corrado killed too. It's part of the job. It's the fact that he's stalking her, blackmailing her to get her back, it's when he got downright scary when she made an innocent comment about the tattoo not matching her dress, it's the intense need to 'mark' her as 'his', it's the tracking system in her car so she won't run from him & SO many more things that happened that bothered me. I don't recall all of it, but yeah, definitely not cool

At that point, him being so obsessive and possessive over you won't be that appealing anymore. Ellie probably liked it too, but spent whole S&N being terrified of him

I saw that crazy Javier in sins and I did in OES too, but I think OES humanized him a bit. It made me understand him more. Call me crazy, but it made me sympathize with him..lol
Nah haven't read those books. I have met Christian Grey, but there's a difference between just being controlling and doing what Javier does. Javier is a whole different level. I already explained why. If I'd had only read OES, I would probably think he's just an alpha male too. But when you see what he's capable of in S&N, especially after 6 years, it puts him in a different perspective

Dang I missed alot since I've been away....I think Javier is effed up in the head but I do truly think he loves Ellie and wanted/wants a future with her. I think something happened to why he had sex with that girl whether she is part of the rival cartel that killed his dad or whatever but I don't think he was just screwing around on Ellie...He's been looking for her for 6 years and not just for his car....
