The only issue I'm having a little bit with is that in sins,Ellie fears Javier. How do u be with someone u fear? But, I'm not saying she shouldn't be with Javier, just want to make that clear...lol. I'm just kinda worried about how she can be with Javier when she fears him.

Emilia, I think Ellie's fear of Javier is more from her not being able to resist him and wanting to be with him, and that's because her feelings for him are so strong.

I'm not completely denying Javier loved her. My main problem with him is that the way he loves is unhealthy. Downright creepy too.And hello, she wouldn't have run off with Camden from state to state if she was just afraid of her feelings. She just realized what he's capable of. The guy threatened Ben! Killed her family member. It's not okay. I don't care if he does it in the name of love. It's sick.
And why does everyone think she can be herself with Javier? She never was herself with him. She lived a lie with him and he's never known Ellie Watt. The one who really knew her was Camden. Even in S&N Ellie says that Camden is the one who knows who she was, who she is and who she will be

I think just bc she changed her name doesn't mean she wasn't herself with him, IMO. But I am really on the fence,so it's no fair for me to really comment bc, like I've said B4, I'm confused. I am reading a book not really thinking as if this was RL. IN RL, I would say pick Camden. i really do like Javier too. I kinda like a crazy guy..lol I'm kinda crazy myself.

Lmao Farah, if you really wanna get technical she had spent years with Camden in high school! And a month when she got back. Emilia, I thought Camden was pretty crazy too. I read S&N this Saturday, so it's still on my mind how Ellie thought she could finally be herself with Camden and how Camden truly got her. I feel like he knows her like the back of his hand.

I agree with you there, but that's why I love both guys for different reasons.
High school doesn't count. She said he was a freak! High school with someone and living with someone for 2 years are completely different!
Ellie is completely different now too. She lived with Javier 6 years ago! And she fell in love with him within a week too, so why wouldn't it be possible with Camden too

I'm definitely - currently - Team Javier because he's just so fun and interesting to write. And I do think his connection with "Eden" is stronger than Ellie's connection with Camden. But who knows what will happen in the next book, now that it's Ellie with Javier, not Eden, and Camden's going all Liam Neeson and badass.

I think it has less to do with the cartel life and more to do with him having no parents and having abandonment issues. Oh and I guess his possessiveness is a character trait.

Ok see, I don't know if you've read Sempre, but Corrado is a typical mob guy and on the outside he's cold and heartless, but he's not like Javier at all. None of the crazy possessiveness, obsession or anger-management issues.
