My picks for you are;

Angel Evolution (The Evolution Trilogy, #1) by David Estes , Cinder (Lunar Chronicles, #1) by Marissa Meyer or Moon Called (Mercy Thompson, #1) by Patricia Briggs

I hope you like one of them enough to read it.

I'll probably end up reading A Touch of Crimson this month and if not that, then The Goddess Test (which I have actually read but in bits and I want to re-read properly!) :) Thanks for my choices!

The Iron King (The Iron Fey, #1) by Julie Kagawa or The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer (Mara Dyer, #1) by Michelle Hodkin

I have those two on my TBR list and want to know what you think. =) I know Julie Kagawa is an excellent writer!

message 143: by NayNay (last edited Apr 10, 2013 06:37AM) (new)

NayNay Bre picked for me The Opportunist (Love Me With Lies, #1) by Tarryn Fisher and gave it 4 stars.

I finished my read for this month....

Olivia Kaspen is a very good character, author Tarryn Fisher did a great job creating her. When this book was recommended to me, I thought it would be you typical romance...boy was I wrong. THE OPPORTUNIST is well written, rather hard to put down, and near the end of the story, the twist make you gasp. I will certainly be reading book 2.
Dirty Red (Love Me With Lies, #2) by Tarryn Fisher Thanks Bre, this was a great choice!

message 146: by Robin (new)

Robin (robinpickell) | 1298 comments Traci L. picked for me: The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making (Fairyland, #1) by Catherynne M. Valente , which I give 4 stars. I found the story captivating and reminiscent of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass by Lewis Carroll . I have added the second in the series to read!

She also picked Ruby Red (Ruby Red Trilogy, #1) by Kerstin Gier , which I gave 4 stars because it holds so much promise. I have added the second in the trilogy to my TBRC shelf to check out soon. Although I did give it 4 stars, I have mentioned elsewhere that I am holding it in reserve to see if the other books in the series keep me enthralled like this one did. If not, I will might lower my stars to 3 1/2, but am glad I own it & will re-read it I am sure.

Thank you so much for your choices Traci! I have to tell you, you gave me two amazing reads this month and I enjoyed myself immensely.

Now on to Daughter of Smoke & Bone (Daughter of Smoke & Bone, #1) by Laini Taylor !

I've been out of commission for a few weeks!
I pick Superstitious instead!

message 148: by Ralica (new)

Ralica Ivanova | 41 comments This month I read Iron King but I was somehow disappointed by the story . I am glad that I've read it because it was on my list for a long time but I just say "it was not my cup of tea". I think it might be a little bit for younger readers. I don't know but honestly I was just missing a little bit the author's imagination and uniqueness.
