You chose from your partners TBR list or the list that they specify. It is fun seeing what your partner has in their TBR list.

I'd like to sign up if it isn't too late. Here is my TBRC list: http://www.goodreads.com/review/list/...
This is the list I would like people to choose from. It's still substantial but it's not 5,000 books either.http://www.goodreads.com/review/list/...

She normally posts them in this thread on post #3... Maybe since there are 31 days this month she's waiting for the 29th instead of the 28th?
My pick for Vendea is
.Alternatives are
and
.That should be a sufficiently genre wide selection. I hope one (or all) tickles your fancy. I eagerly await your pick(s). :)
Rebecka, I have three choices for you
. The first two I have read and enjoyed and the last one I have on my TBR list. I hope you like one of the choices.

Hi BiekeHere are my picks for you.
(I've had this book on my TBR list for a while myself so I would be interested to see what you think should you choose this to read).Hopefully one of these books will work for you. If not just let me know and I'll choose again.

Robin,

For Fairlee, I have three options:
. I have not heard of any of these, so I hope one will suit your mood. If you want a different pick, just let me know. :)
My picks for Camilla:
I love Diana Wynne Jones and this one is my absolute favorite of her books (that I have read).Alternatives:
looks interesting.Or if you are in the mood for a classic
For Traci, I picked
(HNR, but it looks good!) or
(which I HR & loved!) and lastly, because you HNR & have it on your list, my favorite book
.
For Duks, I have some options:
(I just finished this one, and I liked it. I've found most either love it or hate it. But I thought it was good)
(LOVE this series. You can't go wrong w/ this)
(I haven't read this one, but I've heard great things.)I hope these work for you, but if not, just let me know & I'll pick some different ones! Happy Reading!

.For you I have some options The Book Thief, The Host, or Shatter Me.
I liked "Shatter Me" and keep hearing good things about the other two.
My pick for Gayatri is
.I haven't read an R.L. Stein book in forever but I love him! I'm going to have to go pick this up myself!
Thanks for those picks, Eydís! I'm actually reading Howl's Moving Castle right now! :)So, I actually think I will try and go with Jane Eyre, it is about time for to get that one crossed off the list ;)
For you, I have chosen:
The Darkangel by Meredith Ann Pierce
This is one of my ABSOLUTE favourites of all time! I read it first when I was about 12 and it is one of the main reasons I love fantasy as much to this day! :) Wonderfully different story and the whole series is amazing! :)
If you'd prefer something different, you could go with Sandry's Book by Tamora Pierce - I see that you haven't read anything by her before and this is a good series :) I love all her books even though they are perhaps a bit "young" :)
Her best though (imo) is the Song of the Lioness series which starts with Alanna: The First Adventure
Lastly, I would recommend A Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula K. Le Guin which is really lovely as well - a classic in its own right!
It's really cool, but most of the books you've read and these I've recommended are really my oldest and most loved "classic" fantasy books, that started my love of the genre! Hope you enjoy them! :)

I actually picked A Wizard of Earthsea from the library just the other day so I will definitely read that one.
The other books look interesting as well, I'll see which ones I can get my hands on in this far corner of the world :)
And don't worry, I have an undying love for fantasy books :)
Happy reading!

Man, this is a tough choice! I think I'm gonna go with [bookcover:The Host|1656001], simply because the movie is coming out. I may try to read them all, though!
