Yea me either on how much some of the characters have dealt with. But I also think they are good books to make you feel something too. I mean there are so many books I've read over the years where it's like I can't get back the time I wasted reading that book or series. But with SK I never really regret it. And I tap more into my compassionate side. Cause even the bad characters I see something in them too that I learn something from.

Nicole | 119 comments Thank you sooo much to all of you! I think the two I read were Born of Night (liked though not loved) and Born of Silence (gave it a good go, but thought it was quite boring and ended up flicking through a few pages including the ending). Thank you again for everyone's suggestions, will give them a go.

Cindi (ourtrumpcard) | 534 comments Yay! Finally got Born of Legend in from my library. I wish I could afford my book fetish; I used to always buy my SK books but nowadays I never seem to have money when they come out...

Maria Itliong | 22 comments Born of legend and Dragonmark

Just finished Born of Legend before the weekend started now I'm on Dark Side of the Moon.

message 857: by Cindi (new)

Cindi (ourtrumpcard) | 534 comments You're ahead of me, Neona! I'm only about 200 pgs in - and that's a big book! Plus I started Seduction Game (I-Team, #7) by Pamela Clare as a portable read since BoL is such a heavy book.

Jesi | 11 comments I've just finished born of vengeance!! Wow I ❤️ this series!!
Does anyone know of some other similar series?

message 859: by Sarah (new)

Sarah Walker | 14 comments I'm currently reading Born Of Fire and The Curse at the moment. Both are great books with 2 different series

Try the series SK does with Diana Love. Its the Belador series. The first book is called Alterant then Blood Trinity and then The Curse. It was the first book that got me into SK

message 861: by Tina (new)

Tina Bartz | 9 comments I finished Dragonmark this week. When I turned it in to the library, Born of Vengeance was available so I snatched it up! I am planning to start it today.

message 862: by Hal (new)

Hal (hdsreadinglife) | 47 comments Blood Trinity is book 1 in the Belador series. Alterant is book two.

message 863: by Cindi (new)

Cindi (ourtrumpcard) | 534 comments Working on Born of Vengeance (The League, #10) by Sherrilyn Kenyon now...finally got it from my library.

Valentina (valentinazc40) | 20 comments Currently reading The Dream Hunter, It is taking me a while because I have so many thng to do... but so far so good

message 866: by Cindi (new)

Cindi (ourtrumpcard) | 534 comments Charlotte wrote: "Hope you like it, Cindi! =)" It was good, but not great, for me. I think I'm getting tired of the repetitiveness of the stories & characters. I want my old AuthorGoddess back!

message 867: by Laura (new)

Laura (kirallie) | 4 comments I am very behind the series. So I have begun re-reading from the start. Am currently on Zarek's book. First time I got as far as Susan and Ravyn. I didn't like where she was going with Nick, I think that's partially why I stopped, other reason was books are expensive! Buying ebooks this time, a little cheaper and easier to carry around.

I always tried to purchase from my fav authors to support their careers but I've had to start using the library because so many are coming out in hardback 1st (or I just don't have enough money that month). I feel bad about it but at least I can leave good reviews!

Yep, I'm all about ebooks, myself. =) In fact, a crazy ebook sale was how I got hooked on the Dark-Hunter series to begin with! =)

message 870: by Manuela (new)

Manuela (manu21) | 2559 comments I started of with Born of Vengeance, then I have been re-reading Jericho's book (Dream Warrior) because I love this Bad Ass God. Then I read the Dragon books Dragonmark and Dragonsworn and finished it of with Deadmen Walking. As well as that I got Cloak and Silence as an MP3, downloaded it and will eventually listen to it, too.

message 871: by Rachel (new)

Rachel Smith (rlsauthor) | 626 comments I bought most of mine during that same sale, Charlotte, when Styxx came out. I'd been reading from the library, and $2.99 on most of them was too good to pass up.

message 872: by Hanis (new)

Hanis | 1 comments I know I’m a little late, but I have no regrets! Sherrilyn books are the best so far other than my 2 fav author Gena Showalter and Larissa Ione. I’m at Son of No one now. Just so much love for this series! Thank god I came across her books! Never fail to entice me this one! Love Love Love!!

message 873: by Jen (new)

Jen A (jennayyye) | 1 comments Currently re-listening to Born of Vengeance...for the 3rd time this year. I ended up falling for Bastien. But I just love this book, there’s just something about Bastien and Ember’s story that I love.

message 880: by Kate (last edited Jul 15, 2019 07:20AM) (new)

Kate (ladykatherinebookgoddess) | 38 comments I finally finished Syxx. I can't belive I finished in 5 days! I have literally never read a book that long that fast. I had many nights where I had to force myself to stop and go to sleep way to late. I was even late for a baby shower! "I'll just read for like 10 minutes." Sure, you will. I loved it. Gave me a whole new outlook on Acheron. I was never really a huge fan. I started hating him while I read, but by the end I loved him. Bethany and Styxx love story was so beautiful! I need to own a copy for my bookshelf. The ebook is not enough! (Also, the audio is great.) I am going to start Stygian today.

message 881: by Kate (new)

Kate (ladykatherinebookgoddess) | 38 comments I picked "Stygian" back up the other day and finally finished it. This was my second try. I would love opinions on it. At first I hated it. Urian's story was all over the place. Xyn was fantastic (she's a dragon, of course she is awesome.) I can never get enough Syxx and Bethany, or Apollimy for that matter. Tell me what you thought. I am left feeling "meh".
Side note, I cannot wait for a Savitar book!

I only read parts of the book but I do agree I really is too all over the place. It doesn't flow very well..

message 883: by Kate (new)

Kate (ladykatherinebookgoddess) | 38 comments I'm so confused. I wasn't really a fan of the Wulf/Cassandra story, and Phoebe kind of annoyed me. Maybe that's it. I want to like it! I really do!

message 884: by Maria (new)

Maria Itliong | 22 comments I'm reading Dragonsworn then Stygian then I'll start the Deadman's Cross series

message 885: by Kate (new)

Kate (ladykatherinebookgoddess) | 38 comments I am seriously thinking about starting the whole series over from "Fantasy Lover". I am looking at a long recovery from surgery this winter. What better time?

Sarah ♥ dog crazy ♥ (mylheage) | 359 comments I'm currently reading Moon Called.

message 888: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer | 1747 comments Hope you enjoy it, Sarah! I really liked Moon Called. I slacked off on continuing the series but want to get back into it one day... maybe even do a reread of it rofl.

Sarah ♥ dog crazy ♥ (mylheage) | 359 comments I'm just a few chapters in but so far I really like it (the characters, the world, the plot etc.).

message 890: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer | 1747 comments That's good! The first book gets things started in the series but there's so much involved in it.
