You can't beat watching a bit of tennis!! Was very proud to watch a British player (yay to Murray) win Wimbledon this year. I also watch surfing and BMX competitions. I play tennis and surf! And watching it can inspire you to be better! Each to their own and all that :D

cool! do u play instruments?
neat, I'm learning how to play the clarinet and piano.
I don't play any sports and I only watch my kids play sports, nothing on t.v. I'm not a very athletic person.
Heather wrote: "I can play the flute but its been a few months since I've played on it."oh nice! I wanted to play flute in the band, but i got clarinet:) its still really fun!!
I've been writing a LOT here on Goodreads lately. I'm writing several stories and they're turning out pretty good so far!! C:
I think the fanatical behavior displayed by some sports fans is ludicrous. I mean, remember the film, the Bronx Tale? When the guy said "Does Mickey Mantle pay your rent?!
Mariangela wrote: "I think the fanatical behavior displayed by some sports fans is ludicrous. I mean, remember the film, the Bronx Tale? When the guy said "Does Mickey Mantle pay your rent?!"I agree with that :) When things turn violent or mean it's too much and not fun anymore!
I play piano and guitar adn flute and sing! I love music! and I can pick up stuff really easily. :)GO MUSIC!! WHOOP WHOOP!
But then it's like: okay Renee, sport.
And I'm like: o.O? sport? oh right that thing...
tee hee! But I do like swimming, I just don't watch sports.

I understand why people watch and follow sports. They test human physical and spiritual abilities to the limit. However, some fans are just too into it.
Yes were having a heatwave Unfortunately I'm at work today :( When I finish work I'm coming back to read the last of my book
I went on a nice hiking trip today with my dog, the weather has been superb here in East U.S. Unlike last week...ughhh.... I then spent the night working on a novel, and I might cap off my night by watching a Star Trek episode or two.
Mountains...*nods* I haven't had an ice-cream in almost 5 years, or anything with sugar in it. And yeah, I try to eat carbs early in the day only. I make sure I run 2 miles a day and hit the gym, or I won't sleep at night.
It's 50 degrees in the PNW so decided to go to the open market and oh god do i regret it! almost died! But got to spend sometime quality time with the mother : )

Anton wrote: "I can't have sugar unfortunately."Aww. I'm sorry :"(
I get the feeling one of those days i'll get there too, but for now? Im going to enjoy my sugar xP
Amelia wrote: "Someone's gonna have diabetes soon (Asma!). Every day is a bit often, although I can't say I'm any different. Last time I had 500 ml ice cream on one day. Haha nothing better to have for breakfast than ice cream believe me!! **Chocolate cookie dough with crunchy cookies and whipped cream!**
I still eat sugar, but only in natural forms. Have a banana and oatmeal instead! With cinnammon and raisins. Yum!
Anton wrote: "I still eat sugar, but only in natural forms. Have a banana and oatmeal instead! With cinnammon and raisins. Yum!"Seems like mother is home! haha jk
but i eat healthy other than ice cream! im not like som food junkie! hahaha i eat home made food (mother's dream was to be a chef) and home made organic juice!! i think i earned my one ice cream a day! :P
Amelia wrote: "Is there a reason for your not eating any (unnatural) sugar, Anton? I normally take care of my diet, but when it comes to candy, I just... It's so yum! I don't want to stop eating candy, hah. Unles..."I only started my love for ice cream when i discovered my love for books. ice cream shops are the best place to read a book at! haha
and yea your right, the more reason to love the man! he bikes everyday, runs 12 miles a week, watches his diet and mine, takes me to the soccer park every weekend and Monday, and supplies me with books and ice cream! haha I couldnt have asked for a better daddy :)

Amelia wrote: "I wish I had a father :P I mean I do have one, but I haven't seen the dude in about 5 years now? Yeah that's about right.I just do my awesome solo sports like running. But it's too hot for that too."
Awwwwww!!! I am so sorry! that sucks!
i can never understand how a girl can live without her dad. im just grateful i have got him. and one thing i know is that every dad is at his best when he's around his baby girls : )
Amelia wrote: "I know what you mean! If I had any choice, I'd totally want a proper dad, but meh, apparently isn't for me, that. You get used to that! It's good to know that not all dads are like mine though! Th..."
Well have a good work day!! better get whatever it is done ! : )

@Natalie. I'm so sorry. I understand that not all dads are the same and that some are worse than others.
Amelia wrote: "Oh yes! We're totally in a heat wave. It gets up to 40° C at the moment. That's 104° in F. It's really really hot and annoying; and while I am pretty adaptable, my friend almost died playing tennis..."That's wild! The Earth is so bipolar ...literally.
And as for cakes...no refined sugar for me. Because of health reasons. The holidays are a pain when I see all the pastries on the table...

I get that some dads are just stupid though
If I don't get 7 hours, I'm a madman! haha. Although, there are times when I get little sleep and find myself getting more work done. Perhaps, it's the increased adrenaline from the lack of sleep that helps put a spring in my step.
All this talking of working got me thinking of my online courses. Blah :/While some people (Amelia) on the other side are getting up, little ole' me is not even ready to sleep yet xP
Anton, a quick q. i know u live in NY but do u always have a have a view of the ocean? cuz a sunrise is best seen close to waters

Yes Asma I'm surrounded by water on all sides which hasn't been a good thing for these past 3 years. NYC has been a magnet for hurricanes lately.
