((Maybe Annie with another diesel's help?))
The other diesels were still fast asleep.
Diesel 10 made a face at them. "They're awful when they snore." Although, Diesel 10 was one to talk, for he snored worse than them all.
Diesel 10 raised an eyebrow and glanced around. "Okay, but I'm not that bad."
Diesel 10 continued glancing from to her to around him, as if he thought someone else was watching. "How?"
Diesel 10 made a face that looked like a combination of being sick, surprised, and embarrassed. "That was me? That's awful."
Diesel 10 was sheepish. "How embarrassing."
Diesel 10 was even more embarrassed. "I'm so glad Arry and Bert and Diesel aren't hearing us."
The diesels woke up with a start. "What the?!" they all said together.
Diesel 10 burst into cackling laughter.
Diesel 10 burst into cackling laughter.
Diesel 10 laughed and laughed. He laughed hard and maniacally.
"What the blazes is going on here?" Diesel exclaimed.
Arry and Bert were wide-eyed.
"What the blazes is going on here?" Diesel exclaimed.
Arry and Bert were wide-eyed.
Diesel 10 laughed until he was blue in the face. "Get out of there, you nicompoops!" he joked. "Arry and Bert, you'll be happy to know that Annie here has become my friend."
Arry and Bert were surprised and delighted. "Wow, that's great, Boss!"
Arry and Bert were surprised and delighted. "Wow, that's great, Boss!"
"What?" Diesel 10 looked where Annie looked up.
Diesel 10 kept looking where she looked.
"A tour?" Diesel 10 said. "Well, sure."
"Hop in," Diesel 10 encouraged.
Diesel 10 lowered his claw. "Go ahead."
Diesel 10 slowly and cautiously crept out of his shed, being careful not to cause her to fall.
Diesel 10 left the sheds and went through the forest, creeping as slow as a snail for Annie's safety.
Diesel 10 was heading towards an old viaduct, which was a bridge.
"We're heading towards a bridge, first of all."
Diesel 10 then rolled to a stop. He eyed the bridge suspiciously. For some reason, it just didn't look safe. "Allow me to put you down for a moment. I need to check the bridge."
Diesel 10 set her down before starting to go cautiously onto the bridge.
"I'll try," Diesel 10 said, although he was starting to get nervous. The bridge felt very dangerous underneath him, and there was water underneath it. If the bridge collapsed, he would most likely fall to his death, plunging into the water and the water destroying him. He shuddered.
Once he was reaching the middle, a few small stones from the bridge fell and crumbled. Diesel 10 froze for a moment, tense.
Diesel 10 was really scared. He inched forward a little more, but even though it was a little move, the bridge suddenly began to collapse. Diesel 10 let out a frightened cry. He did not want to die. But as he fell, he managed to reach up with his claw and grab a piece of the rails that was still there.
