Diesel 10 tried to get as close as possible, but she was still a little far away.
Diesel 10 watched her, unsure of why she was feeling sad, but he had an idea.
Diesel 10 looked slightly sympathetic. "What's the matter?" he purred.
"Do you feel like you're...unneeded?"
"But that's not true," Diesel 10 purred. "I need you."
"But I do. You're my friend. I needed you to help me when I was in trouble, and you did. You got the diesels to help me. If it hadn't been for you, who knows how long I would have stayed there in the boat. I need you as my friend."
Diesel 10 inched a little closer to her. "It's okay," he purred soothingly. "Just know that I care."
Diesel 10 really did care. For the first time, he did. "And you need me," he murmured. "You need me, and I need you. You fill in my lonely gap, and I fill in yours. That's what friends are for."
Diesel 10 smiled a happy but sympathetic smile. He hugged her back with his claw.
Diesel 10 tried to hug her like a human would, and he did quite well. He delicately stroked her hair with his claw and her back as he hugged her.
"I'm fine," Diesel 10 purred softly. "It's just a matter if you are."
"I'm doing okay now. I thought I was going to have a panic attack there, and I almost did, but now I feel like I've gotten over it."
"Did I help you feel better?" Diesel 10 purred.
Diesel 10 gently picked her up and set her on his front before starting forwards slowly.
Diesel 10 was silent as well as he crept along.
Diesel 10 went onto some tracks that were close to the cliffs.
Diesel 10 crept slowly along the cliff.
((Do you think maybe Annie could end up in trouble, and Diesel 10 is the one saving her life?))
((Do you think maybe Annie could end up in trouble, and Diesel 10 is the one saving her life?))
"Go ahead, but be careful," Diesel 10 warned, going even slower.
Diesel 10 inched slowly along the cliff.
Diesel 10 didn't notice it either.

"No!" Diesel 10 cried, attempting to reach down and grab her.
Diesel 10 panicked. She was now too far down for him to catch her. So he suddenly shot off, following the tracks that went down the mountain. He was going to try to catch her from below.
When Diesel 10 stopped below the cliff, he looked up and saw her hanging there. "Annie, I'm here. I'm down here underneath you."
