I must have thought of this series as darker than other people did...except for maybe this Resistance by Muse thought. Idk. Songs with like...Nicki Minaj? Really? :( SOOOOOOO NOT deep enough for this series. Seriously. A while ago in a similar discussion thread I saw someone mention Teenage Dream by Katy Perry and I was like :| DISAPPOINTED.

It isn't that, though no I'm not necessarily into the whole candy-pop-thing...but the series just feels pretty deep and real to me, and shallow songs just don't make the cut for me hahah.
