Debra

I've got your book safely loaded on my Nexus 7 ready to read. One thought. Although you have plenty of reviews on Amazon.com you don't have any on Amazon.co.uk. The US reviews are displayed in the UK but don't count in the review total. I'll therefore post reviews on both sites (as I have accounts on each of them).

Best wishes,

Hello Grace
I am a keen historical fiction reader, and I am happy to read and review your book. I wrote a HR book myself but it is not yet in Kindle format. I have an other book that is about history, and it is on kindle, but it is quite expensive ($10). Did you write any other books? Perhaps I could review three of your books to even out the price difference. My book is called 'Salome; An Invitation to the Dance'

Your book is beautiful. The cover makes me want to go out and plant a zillion tomato plants!! I downloaded it and I don't know how it works to review a cookbook, but I'm going to give it my best shot. If you want to review mine, that'd be awesome. It's so different from yours that you may not be interested. I totally understand. Mine is available on Smashwords for free until April 16: https://www.smashwords.com/books/view... if you want it. Use coupon code QY68X when you check out. Please don't feel like you have to review mine if it isn't your cup of tea.

It is a non-fiction book about all the scams in Barcelona. I'll be willing to do a review on a book that costs the same amount or we can swap files and leave each other unverified reviews. I like reading thrillers, romance, suspense and anything that is well written really.

Best of luck to all my fellow authors!

Kait, there has been so much negative talk about the reviews being posted on Amazon. What are your thoughts? It seems like if we post a positive review, we come under scrutiny. If we post a negative one, we come under scrutiny.... something is wrong with this picture.

I agree with Donna, We should be able to leave a review without worry that someone will comment on our review. The reviews should only be there to leave a comment/review on the book. It should not be allowed to comment on other people reviews or opinions.

Willard Phillips | 24 comments Nine months ago I made a serious mistake: I published ‘Death in Hollywoodland’ on KDP without first having it professionally edited. The book is non-fiction. It relates the stories of more than 365 Hollywood actors that committed suicide or were murdered as a result of their celebrity status. I had worked on the book for more than a year and believed it to be in reasonably good shape.
Over the first 3 months the book sold fairly well and received several good reviews. Then a barrage of damning reviews struck; all highly critical of the editing. Sales dropped to a trickle.
A month ago I paid to have the book professionally edited, and reissued it, but evidently the prior bad reviews have continued to do their dirty work as sales haven’t increased.
If you will go to http://www.amazon.com/Death-in-Hollyw... (or search for the kindle edition on Amazon.com), use the ‘Click to look inside’ feature, give the book a fair review, and then e-mail me at ppater11@gmail.com, giving me the name of one or more books that you want reviewed, I will immediately reciprocate.
Thank you, Will Phillips
