I agree. I can't believe she won't make up her mind.

Rebecca I think that since they both have different story lines that they are all great in there own ways.

Naomie Parker-Wollard Such a hard decision!!!! WHY MUST YOU MAKE US CHOOOOSE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Matched was good...The Hunger Games was good...I've ONLY read the FIRST Divergent book..waiting on a person to finish 2nd book..and my order to come in...

Elizabeth Matched

message 357: by Alice (new) - rated it 2 stars

Alice Matched was a terrible book. It is not right to compare it to hunger games or divergent.

Same here."

Me to everyone knows that divergent is the best

I honestly didn't enjoy Matched very much and the Hunger Games was okay. I really enjoyed Divergent, though :)

Annika 1. Hunger Games

3. Matched.

The first and second book were good for Hunger Games and Divergent but the second book for Matched just got strange...

I have heard that from a lot of people. I read all of the Hunger Games books, but only the first of Divergent and Matched. I am going to finish the Divergent series, especially hearing about the end of Allegiant-- a bold move for an author!

Jessica Harrison April wrote: "jennifer wrote: "i really HATED matched. just thought I'd put that out there. its last on my list of the 3."

I agree with you"

I liked the first book, but then it just went down hill.

Jessica Harrison Divergent, it was an awesome book!

message 365: by Rachael (new) - rated it 1 star

Rachael Warner I hated matched. Hated it, hated it, hated it. It doesn't have anything to do with either Divergent or Hunger Games.
1) Hunger Games (by far)
2) Divergent
379) Matched

message 366: by [deleted user] (new)

Matched was hunger games, just had some twist and turns!!!

you people must be wacko i read divergent and it was OK but not even nearly as good as matched and i can never get into hunger games but i'm going to try for a third time soon.

message 371: by Lrubin (new) - rated it 5 stars

Lrubin I prefer the Hunger Games...I just find it more fast paced, but that was a hard decision to make.

Lizzy, I think kids these days need action-packed books to keep interested, and Matched was well-written, but the plot was on the slower side. I enjoyed it; I liked the characters and the sweet romance; but I liked how more elaborate the settings were for The Hunger Games and the Divergent series.

message 373: by Xenon (new) - rated it 4 stars

Xenon I haven't read Divergent yet, but it's going to take a lot of awesomeness to beat Hunger Games on my list, so I'm still going with Hunger Games. Maybe I'll be surprised by Divergent…as for Matched, like other people have said, it was pretty boring and the characters were flat.

Emma Belle 1. Divergent
2. HG
3. Matched

Matched was my least favorite trilogy. Legend is REALLY good also but Divergent and HG were the absolute best.....

My Favs(trilogy dystopian wise):
1. Divergent
2. HG
3.Taken
4.Legend
5.Matched

message 375: by Maddie (new) - rated it 5 stars

Maddie Morrow Oh I love them all! I think divergent though.

message 376: by Tachi (new) - rated it 1 star

Tachi Out of THG and Divergent, I'd say THG. I really hated Matched.

message 377: by Alora (new) - rated it 1 star

Alora - The Hunger Games

- Divergent

and last, and most definitely least,

- Matched

. . .

The HG series was amazing. For once, all the hype was actually true.

The Divergent series slowly got worse as each book got read. The first was great, the second was good, and the last majorly sucked.

I can't even form an opinion regarding the Matched series considering I've only read the first. And I don't plan on reading the rest anytime soon. Everything was just. . . blah. And don't even get me started on the poetry crap. Like, wtf?

emma-jane Divergent!!!

message 379: by Maey (new) - rated it 3 stars

Maey Divergent.

message 380: by Kay (new) - rated it 5 stars

Kay There's a lot to love in all three books, so I cant choose!

message 381: by [deleted user] (new)

I agree with you! Hunger Games BY FAR! But I am surprised that we are in the minority... I am curious to know what it is about Divergent (which I read & liked) that is getting it the overwhelming top vote. Thoughts?

Christina It is between Hunger Games and Divergent. Matched was just okay.

Rebecca Smith Jordan wrote: "You have all convinced me! I'm going to check out Divergent. I have to say I read the entire Matched series after reading Hunger Games. I loved HG and was trying to find another series to fall in l..."

Try reading Lauren Oliver Delirium series, also The Razorland series by Ann Aguirre, they are a lot like these that have been mentioned.

Rita Gorgulho Hunger Games!

Divergent was good at the beggining, but it started to irritate me. Same with Matched, except that it turned out to be boring as well.

message 388: by Finy (new) - rated it 2 stars

Finy McMullee 1.Divergent
2.Hunger Games
3.Matched
The divergent trilogy is my most favorite series with the Infernal Devices and Mortal Instruments in a close second. HG and Matched are much much lower on my list. Katniss gets on my nerves and All the Matched characters were weak and shallow.

Queen of Bogus hunger games

message 390: by [deleted user] (new)

I liked the divergent serie most, although the second and the third book weren't that great. I liked matched, but after the second book I had my doubt and I really didn't like the third book. The hunger games is a great serie, the second book wasn't really great, because it was kinda a 'bridge' between the hunger games and mockingjay. If you saw the movie I don't know if you like the books, because the second time I read the books I thought they were kinda boring. The first time I liked it, because I didn't know what was gonna happen, but I think the writing style is kinda boring.

So I recommend reading the first book of all series, but after the first book it became worse (not that it is bad, but it's worse than the first book). In the hunger games trilogy I also liked mockingjay, but I think the series would be better if there was just one book in each.

Phontanett Foster i read all of them and i think that divergent is wayy better than comes hunger games then matched
