The closest town to me is actually in the county I don't live in, or I would have never thought of it either.

I'm surprised you can still access your old libraries digital content. When I moved and tried to log in to my old libraries digital content it told me I was no long allowed access. Somehow they found out that I moved.

LOL, I've concidered buying another card. I really thought the other libraries would cut me off too. But they haven't. I think because I am still fairly close to one and own property in the others districts it might help.

Book: You Can't Hide by Karen Rose
Finished: March 9th
Rating: ★★★★1/2
Review: An intense psychological thriller with an engaging romance.
The mystery is fast paced and engrossing albeit quite disturbing in some respects. Rose has a knack for writing diabolical villains and this is no exception. Nevertheless, it is quite easy to figure out the identity of the culprit if you pay attention to the clues and realize that this type of sadistic sociopathy and hatred can only have an emotional and deeply personal source.
The dynamic between Tess and Aidan is the highlight of the book. Their slow progression from deep seated animosity to understanding and then to love and trust is captivating. Rose's characterization is excellent and she is skilled at evoking the reader's emotions, good or bad, for each and every character.
In sum, You Can't Hide is a chilling addition to an excellent series and I am eager to read the next installment.

I'm glad you enjoyed your book. Do the Romantic Suspense books have to be read in order?

While characters from the earlier books do make an appearance in later installments, the stories are all self contained and can definitely be read as stand alones.
That said, Rose's writing is so good and the plots so clever and thrilling that I recommend starting from the first book -

I've never given any of her books less than 4 stars.

A World Away by Nancy Grossman
Finished:3/9
Rating:♥♥♥
Review:
This is a sweet story of coming of age. It is rumspringa, a time of exploration and discovery, for Eliza, a 16 year old Amish girl. She yearns to try the things she has been forbidden to all her life. Her mother is against it and her friends don't understand why she wants to go. However, she does end up in the Yankee world as the nanny to a family with two young children. And we the readers get to embark on this journey with her.
This was probably not the best time for me to have read this story. I just finished another "coming of age story" which was much more intense and in turn made this book a bit boring.

Storm Front by Jim Butcher
Read: 3/9/13
Rating: 4 stars
Review:
I wish I had started this series a long time ago! My attention was caught pretty much from the very first page, and I didn't want to put the book down. It's very well written, and I really enjoyed Harry as a narrator, which is saying something since I typically prefer books that have a female narrator.
The main mystery is strong, and it kept me guessing, which is always nice. I'm definitely looking forward to reading more of this series!

The characters are well done..Probably the best in the series so far. Good action, quick moving plot.
I keep waiting for this series to peter out, as so many long series do, but Butcher keeps maintaining a high level of interest and development.
The secrets that involve the Black Council finally surface and of course, Harry is dragged into it. Harry does what he does best, take no crap, get beaten up and find the bad guys. It's always a please to find yourself reading a book where you're truly sad that it's over.

That stinks! I got lucky in that there are two libraries in my area. The main library I use has the book checked out, but it's available at the other one, so I'm going to run over there shortly and grab it before anyone else does!
