That's what I'm thinking too. I wish I could say the say for Point of Retreat. The only one of her books that I didn't like.

Haha, I started that one a few months ago but didn't get to far into it. I couldn't stand the characters. :P I'll try again sometime later because I want to read This Girl.

lol I had to push through that one. I agree with you about the characters. They were very infuriating, especially that little girl. Some scenes made no sense to me. This Girl was a lot better :)

She was one of the main reasons I didn't want to continue with it. I didn't like the use of "butterfly" either. :/ I heard! That's why I want to try reading PoR again. I don't want to skip from the first book to the third LOL.

Just finished On the Jellicoe Road . . . it was as good as those who recommended it said it was. Truly good. In fact, it was the first five * I've rated since January, when I read another "Compass" that I'd never heard of before. Go figure. If anyone has another rec similar, send it along.

I am currently reading Every Day by David Levithan. I'm a little over 100 pages in and can't decide if I like the book or not. There are times when I am very intrigued and can't wait to find out what happens next and other times when I am so frustrated by the whole premise of the book and the unanswered questions that I just need to put it down.
