okay, I dropped it. It's very heavy on a culture and language I don't know anything about and it doesn't give a lot of story, history or hand-holding to help understand it more....
it's just odd. over 100 pages in and I wasn't a fan.....

These past days I've read
and my faith in maggie stiefvater is now restored! I read Shiver many years ago and thought it was alright (but I think I'd hate it if I read it now instead) and read The Raven Boys not so long ago and pretty much hated it so I was really scared to read this one. I can see why some people didn't like it since it a slow book and all but I'm starting to realize that I love slow books when they're done well and when they have incredible characters and beautiful writting in it.I also read
and loved it, like every single book in this series. And there was less Lana's chapters so I was glad about it.I also read
and it was just fabulous. Sometimes, it was a little thought to read because the main character's believes are so different from mines but by the end of the book she completly won me over and she's now of of my favorite character, ever! I'm so thankfull that I've waited until the second book was out to read it so now I'll be able to complete this duology.I'm now reading

. It's pretty good: I like the world building and it's definitely a page-turner, but sometimes the main characters annoys me. She's way too naive for my tastes.
I have quite a few going on but I'm concentrating on
right now.

before the Divergent buddy read tomorrow. It's really good, I can hardly put it down! Unfortunately, I'm not feeling too well, so I don't know how much I'll be able to finish. I only have 175 more pages left to go, so that's not a lot. :-)
