Dropped Sweet Sixteen (I didn't fell comfortable when I read the book. Teacher x student sex and not only one student, but another too, can you imagine that the book is targeted for 14 years and older. :|)So no I will read

Thank you :D a lot of people say there's a plot twist halfway but I'm still not quite there yet!
Mehsi wrote: "Dropped Sweet Sixteen (I didn't fell comfortable when I read the book. Teacher x student sex and not only one student, but another too, can you imagine that the book is targeted for 14 years and ol..."ack. sounds awful. I don't blame you for dropping it....how disappointing... :(
Trisha wrote: "ack. sounds awful. Also the teacher was just a horny (pardon my French) bastard, he was married and all, but didn't get things from his wife, so he went to 15/16 year old girls from his class. :\ *sighs* Very disappointing. And I really hope no 14/15/16 years will read this.
gah!!! holy crap, that sounds awful :(i wish I had a "never will I ever" shelf. I'll be sure to avoid that one.
ugh, awful....

I know. :\ I was all raging every time something happened that was just so wrong (my boyfriend was all like: I don't want to know that).
I wish I had such a shelf too, would be very handy. Or a shelf to serve as a warning for others so they can avoid a book.
Very awful. :(
I just finished
and it was okay, but it wasn't really that good. But now I have to read
for summer reading and I am not looking forward to it at all :(
Angela (: wrote: "Mehsi, who's the author?"A Belgian author named Dirk Bracke. Most of his books are quite good, but this one... no, just no. Maybe it is because he wrote it with another author.
Angela (: wrote: "That sounds like a terrible book. :("It is, if only I knew that when I borrowed it from the library. I would have taken another book instead of this one.
Angela (: wrote: Did you like The Book Thief?"Yeah, I really enjoyed it. I wouldn't normally read something set around WW2, but I guess different was good for me in the case.

I thought it was totally amazing. It wasn't really a "war" book, but a book about ppl who happened to be victims of the war.. does that make sense? My daughter loved it too!
Finished my re-read of
{vampire smut}, I just love watching ppl fall in love... sigh...Now I am going to force myself to get through
if it kills me. It's a good book, not a terrible one - the writing is excellent. I just love my character and she is basically being tortured right now and I'm not handling it well. Yes, I know I have problems...

My four-star review of "Under The Never Sky"... I have mixed feelings about this book, but overall I really liked it. The story was intriguing, which is the main reason I've given it four stars. It was a bit inconsistent. Some parts flowed well while others lagged. For the most part, though, the characters were interesting and the writing was crisp.
I'm reading
and I don't really know what to think of it yet. At first, when it was the girl's perspective, I liked it but the boys's perspectives are making me so confuse. They all sounds the same and most of the times, I don't really understand what's it's going on and argh...
Dropped the unmaking of Hunter Kennedy. Dang that book was annoying. Vere just talked like a 10 year old, blushing every few pages, and Hunter, well I expected something more.So now I will be reading (when I have time, it is weekend afterall):
Mehsi, I started The Unmaking of Hunter Kennedy a few months ago, but couldn't go pass the first 50 pages.
Gisbelle wrote: "Mehsi, I started The Unmaking of Hunter Kennedy a few months ago, but couldn't go pass the first 50 pages."Glad I am not the only one.
Well I got a bit farther than you, I was hoping it would turn out better, but instead I just wanted to smack both the characters (and also some others) on the head with the book. :\
