message 2410: by Marie (new)

Marie | 56 comments Thesse few past days I finished Remember Me? by Sophie Kinsella and I loved it. I'g getting really addictied to Sophie Kinsella's books.
I also read the four prequel novellas in the Throne of glass series The Assassin and the Pirate Lord (Throne of Glass, #0.1) by Sarah J. Maas The Assassin and the Desert (Throne of Glass, #0.2) by Sarah J. Maas The Assassin and the Underworld (Throne of Glass, #0.3) by Sarah J. Maas The Assassin and the Empire (Throne of Glass, #0.4) by Sarah J. Maas and oh....what a dissapointement. I thought the writting was really bad (it felt like I was reading a fanfiction) and the love interest was boring and not a well developed character ( If felt like I never actually knew him. Instead. It felt like the author was telling me I know him. I get it. The main character has know him all her life. Good for her. I didn't! Also, I know why but he never felt real to me. Maybe that has something to do with the writing).

I'm now really exited about Throne of Glass (Throne of Glass, #1) by Sarah J. Maas that I'm about to start....I know most people has loved it and I was really exited about it. But now that I've read the novellas...I don't know. We'll see. Then again, after reading such an incredible (and a little bit similar) book like Froi of the Exiles (Lumatere Chronicles, #2) by Melina Marchetta , nothing will compare.

I also started or restarted actually I've Got Your Number by Sophie Kinsella . I had already read the third of it last year and loved it but then I cleaned my ipad and lost all my books and never took the time to read it again.

glad many of you liked it that much, I just couldn't get into it. 178 got too soft too fast, I wanted her to be real kick-ass, and to underline 22's "humanity" he was a bit too funny and too smiley...

I'm planning to read Real (Real, Raw & Ripped, #1) by Katy Evans tomorrow, since they swooned all over Remy during the NA crush tourney :D

I dropped it. The characters where just a bit too much, the teacher was just slightly too close to his students, and there was quite a bit of fuck/shit and other tough talk/cursing. Also the story was a bit boring.
