I have been wondering how Partials and Fragments is, I think I have both on my Kindle, I think I am going to go Challenge-less for a month just so I can read the book that I really want to read. Not that I don't find surprises sometimes. But I have put off reading Scarlet and The Elite and well I know there are others out there too.

message 942: by Marie (new)

Marie | 56 comments YesterdayI finished Unravel Me (Shatter Me, #2) by Tahereh Mafi . I had some(okay, a lot) of issues with it but it was entertaining. I also finished Sweet Evil (The Sweet Trilogy, #1) by Wendy Higgins and it was probably my biggest dissapointement of 2013. I gave it a 3/5 because it was an okay red but now that I had time to reflect on it I realize that there is nothing in this book that I actually liked. The plot was boring the dialgues didn't feel natural at all, the characters felt unidimensional and clichés and I was so surethat I would fell in love with Kaidan from the descriptions of him I had read in reviews but I found him quite boring sadly. I also found the romance way too rushed and superficial. I can understand why people liked Sweet Evil but I feel like I've read way too many books exactly like thisone to really enjoy it. I will still read the sequel, maybe I'll like this one better.

I also started The Rules (Project Paper Doll, #1) by Stacey Kade and I was hesitant to start it because the synopsis didn't really appeal to me and I didn't want to be dissapointed because I love the author but I love it so far.
