I didn't like We Were Liars either, but a lot of people in the group rated it 5 stars, so I hope you like it :D
I liked We Were Liars and gave it a 4 star (more like a 3.5 though) but I don't understand all the hype around it. It was a good book but not amazing.
I gave 2 stars. Oh yes, the hype. How I hate that.
I feel like hype can sometimes ruin a book. I hate reading a book with a ton of hype because I feel like sometimes it affects my rating.
