Trisha, I LOVE that he calls her that. LOL We are so different at times in how we feel about books, BUT I know he likes her and he is flirting with her in his own way.

This is based on up to, and including to chapter 12(view spoiler)[OMG I couldn't believe the jerk at Daemon's house. I was wondering who the hell he is. In chapter 12 we find out. I was like WHAT??? He is their teacher? So what the heck IS going on? On top of that there is a set of triplets and Ash is one of them, AND Daemon and Dee are actually triplets? I wonder if that's true or if there's another story behind that? Oh, and what about the guy who beat up Katy? Is he someone who is after Daemon and Dee because they have special gifts? Do you think? Do you think the girl who was killed was someone who knew about Daemon and Dee? (hide spoiler)]OMG I can't believe all of that in chapter 11 and 12!!!

I find that nickname so cute, like I smile whenever he calls her that!! The flirting is on level 100 though and I just love their love-hate thing going on LOL.

I do too, Alexa. Especially her reaction and how flustered she gets. She wants so badly to hate him. Lol Wait till you read chapter 12!!! Hilarious!!!

ooh so much has happened, and chapter 12 was funny indeed, during it all I was like you go Katy!!! but am I the only that can't stand Ash? ugh I don't like her. Yeah Vicki, (view spoiler)[ about that Matthew guy, he's apparently their teacher now (creepy much and really weird), I'm wondering what part he plays in all of this. As for the girl that was killed, I'm thinking it must've been because she knew about them? or because she was involved with them but that doesn't explain why Dawson died. Or if he died for that matter. What if he was just sent back to their "planet"? Or did he die trying to save her? Is that Bethany girl even dead? I need answers!!! Hopefully some of the questions will be answered further in the book. (hide spoiler)]

And Daemon has been so confusing but I guess it's going to ease, now that chapter 15 happened, ((view spoiler)[she knows the truth now..I'm really curious on how this is going to go from here (hide spoiler)]).

But I didn't like what Daemon did in chapter 12, like during that incident thing she did..he was really rude, I know he might not mean it and all and that he hasn't got a choice but its horrible really. I can't believe how Katy is even putting up with him. One second he's really nice the other second he's a freaking jerk to put it mildly.

I know it but he (view spoiler)[did apologize. I think it's because he cares about Katy (in part) that he does things to keep her from wanting to be with them. Yes, he's protecting his sister, but I think he's also protecting Katy. (hide spoiler)]

Yes of course! I didn't think of it in that way, great thinking Vicki :D. I guess I was just really caught up in the humiliation...it was just awful reading that part, I felt like I was so embarrassed and on behalf of her. But the way you've been thinking makes really sense!

lol sorry, I fell asleep. I was up late last night getting the Breaking Dawn II DVD at midnight and then it took me 2 hours to get home. :) I'm at chapter 10.

I have 3 other books to read too, so I'll probably just stop at 16 and pick up another book.

I don't like mean boys. I don't care how hot they are, or if they are trying to protect me by being mean.

Every time he says kitten, it sounds condescending in my head. Plus I would imagine it rips her heart out each time he says it - cheapens it from the sweet nickname her dad used to call her - and he doesn't even care. That's just cruel, cruelty with no purpose. I think he's an ugly person so far because I don't think he's a nice, good person. :(

Well, you're right about her dad and how that might affect her. I don't like him because he's "hot," I like him because there is more to him than meets the eye. He's mysterious, protective, and playful. Yes, he's mean as well. If it were real life and he were human, I'd feel differently. I don't know if they end up together or not, but I think he must have some redeeming qualities or Katy wouldn't like him.

I love this book! I don't know how you'll feel after reading further. You'll probably hate him more, but you'll LOVE Katy's spunk! I think what I really love is her ability to "handle" Daemon. I loved chapter 15 even though he gets rude AGAIN. Lol
