ABANDONED. Book, About These Kids That Go To Space, Guided By An Alien Dog

Hi im looking for a book, its about these kids that go to space with an Alien thats dressed up as a Dog. When they Die they go to Zone-X or something like that. Its a series of like 6 books? I dont remember i read them when i was in 2nd grade(im in 9th now) I only read like 3 books of the series. When they went from one place to another he says something like "it felt like if i was put in a blender" I remember that in one of those they went to a planet where they couldnt talk they just used machines so that their conversations could be monitored. Anybody?

It sounds like Can of Worms , by Kathy Mackel. I'm not sure that it was technically a series, but she may have written other books with the same characters.

At the end they go see this creature that knows everything, but he is blind. When the humans and Aliens visiit him, somehow they make him see everything and says "Now that I can see I realize I know nothing"

How about Bruce Coville's My Teacher series, starts with My Teacher is an Alien. In the fourth book, My Teacher Flunked the Planet they go into outspace and I think one of the Aliens was a dog shape. There may have been something in My Teacher Fried my Brains about feeling like he'd been in a blender.

No it isn't My Teacher Series either. Also I'm not exactly sure but I think the alien/dog's name is Sirius. This may not be true but I think its Title is Odessey or something similar. The Edition I read has a Red Line on the front or side of the book.
