Over the weekend I finished Liz Carlyle's The Bride Wore Scarlet, which was a nice change of pace. Now I'm working on the next one in that series, The Bride Wore Pearls.
Just finished Lara Adrian's Edge of Dawn which introduced the midnight Breed's next generation.I'm planning on starting Marie Force's Waiting For Love, now.
I really liked Edge of Dawn! What did you think Valie?
I am reading Raziel, which I can't take seriously and makes me laugh like crazy, and not because it's funny, The Dragon and the Pearl(amazing!) and re-reading the Guild Hunter series(I'm about to finish 2)

Finished 2 Sarah Mayberry's last week (THE LAST GOODBYE and ONE GOOD REASON) and they just keep getting better and better. I'm going to be so sad when I run out of her backlist.Almost done with Jo Goodman's MARRY ME. I was really in the mood for a good western and this one fit the bill perfectly. I'm toying with starting another of hers when I'm done. Although, after reading the last post by DLS on Elizabeth Hoyt's new release tomorrow I'm thinking of switching gears!
I just finished
from Julia Anne Long's Pennyroyal Green series and
from Maggie Osborne. Both were great read. I think I will reread
before read the latest Maiden Lane series.
Just finishing up Secrets of a Summer Night on audible and queuing up It Happened One Autumn. I figure I'll finish up the Wallflower series before the end of the week. I may stay with LK and move on to the Hathaways after that. But maybe I should do something contemporary in between. Decisions, decisions...

I am still working on Les Misérables, but I have a feeling I will be working on that one for awhile. I am also reading Beautiful Darkness.
June, I love I Do, I Do, I Do! I love almost everything Maggie Osborne wrote. I go back and reread one or more of hers every year or so when I just need an MO fix.
Manda, I'm reviewing Carlyle's The Bride by Moonlight today. It's Napier and Elizabeth Colborne's story, and it picks up where The Bride Wore Pearls leaves off--more of that intricate weaving together story strands that Carlyle does so well.
Today I'm reading A Prior Engagement by Karina Bliss. It's an extreme reunion story.

I am reading Karen Robards Irresistible second of the Banning sisters trilogy. I like this sister better she's fiester than the first who was rather a push-over. The men do tend to grin a lot though, I think KR should find another adjective.
Read a Lisa Jackson romance the other night and it was okay but left me feeling a tad frustrated, things were left unsaid and undone and the heroine was a bit wimpy for my liking, I think LJ should stick to suspense novels.

I've been on a contemporary kick lately; I just started Fiona Lowe's Boomerang Bride. Have any of you read it?
Theresa, I read Boomerang Bride after it was named a finalist but before it won the RITA. I liked the combination of humor and pathos and thought it was an interesting variation on the small-town romance.

I hope so too I have had it on by TBR for awhile!

I'm almost finished with The Bride Wore Pearls and am very curious to see how Napier works as a hero.

I just finished Lord of Darkness by Elizabeth Hoyt. I loved it. It may be my favorite of her work. It's also the lightest in tone of this series (not that that's saying much). A story of two people who both lost loves and have to learn they can find happiness again without being unfaithful, the plot is less contrived than some of the others in the series. I do wonder how many more she will write: there are a number of other characters I'd like to see get their HEA including Sarah, Phoebe, Captain Treveylen. And I hope we learn more about the rest of Temperance's family.
Alma, I hope you enjoyed reading Tempt The Devil! Anna Campbell is an autobuy for me and one of my Fave writers. Anything AC is a fab read :)
Kasey, how's Beautiful Darkness goin? I tired reading it but couldn't get into it. I may give it another go..depending on your opinion.
I finished Tempt the Devil last night. It was the first Anna CAmpbell I have read. It certainly was very erotic which I don't mind but it was almost too over powering.
Okiw, I am about 150 pages into it. It isn't as interesting as the first one so far. It's just okay. I am hoping it picks up soon.
I thought the same thing- "I hope it picks up soon." You're 50 pages past the point I gave up. lol!
I'm planning on goin out and looking for The Runaway King sometime this week. I'm really looking forward to reading that one :)

I finished it...it was okay, but nothing great. It kind of drug on and I found Lean to be kind of annoying in this one. I might try to read book 3 because I've invested this much time in it, but I am going to finish the one I am reading now and probably read The Runaway King before I attempt that task.
